I'm a diehard fan of doctor who myself. Though really at this point it's starting to seem like who isn't these days.

As for the show and regenerations. It's in the past mythology. The timelord council can great more regens, but without a council, the doctor can do it himself. River only had a limited number of regens because she doesn't know that about the council or the history of the timelords.

As for the flesh doctor, that was never going to be how he escaped the death. Flesh doctor can't regen. They said so in the episode itself when he flipped out about 900+ years of memories with no regenerating. The show does explain a lot of what's going on, but it's in the finer details and easy to miss because the pace is so fast. I'm glad I DVR episodes for rewatches to catch a lot of stuff if I missed something.

Also, just a heads up... But prepared for a big shocker on the 11-12, and 12-13 regens. =D Not sure which they'll do it on, but one or the other is going to have something really holy crap in it that relates to River and birthdays.
You're taking all the fun out of it.

Oh they'll be bringing even more fun in.

That is the one thing I love about Doctor Who. It's all canon. So the past can have as many answers as new episodes. Especially now with Rule 1.

So, anyone picked up any of the Doctor Who figures yet? I'm debating picking up a couple of the Daleks - One old version, and the new white Supreme Dalek - But not sure if they're worth the money... And a lot of the figures do look a little dull to me, so I doubt I'd collect more.

I was looking at that set the other day, but it was a UK auction and would've cost $150 after shipping.

Is that all of the new Daleks, or a set containing different ones from different eras?

I thought he was talking about the set with the 11 Doctors.

I was talking about the 11 Doctors.

It's pretty rad.

I'm not ready to start collecting another toy, so I'll just hold onto my Doctors for now.

It'd be cool if they had a 3.75" version though, that I'd collect.

Might pick up the Mego Tom Baker too.

Ah, I got ya now... Sorry, didn't think there was a boxset for Daleks out there! ^^; But yeah, seen the Doctors set, and it looks very cool. If ever I had the cash I would pick it up in a heartbeat.

Mt friend has been picking up the small, Lego-like Doctor Who stuff that Character are making. Really simple stuff, but nice and collectible. Thinking of picking up their 11 Doctor set too, it's nice and cheap: Character Building Doctor Who 11 Doctors Collector Set

I've been meaning to pick up a Tardis sooner or later. Does anyone have the 6'' figure one? If so, how is it?

Also, I was wrong about River above. The Tardis taught her a lot. So she gave all her regens to the doctor from that knowledge, just like how the TimeLord council can take away and give to others regens. The Doctor may also have the remaining Regens the master would have had. Plus I'm really curious if they'll ever use that ritual the Master used to come back to life again. Now I'm also wondering if maybe he has 11 regens back because of the rebooted timeline.

Anyone catch the time comment from River in the season finale?
Sending out a message outside of the earth's time bubble who aren't harmed by the event. Sending out the message "The Doctor is dying. Please help." To the beginning of time and the end, and everywhere inbetween?

I'm kind of wondering if maybe the silence accidentally created a self-fullfilling prophecy. By trying to keep the doctor from the fields of tranzalore and the question, they created River to stop the doctor, who in turn sent the signal to the beginning of time that created the question, because at the beginning of time, if they don't know who the doctor is, wouldn't they just ask, "Doctor who?"

This show just keeps making new damn questions everytime you try to solve one, or one is solved. xD

Nice little moment on BBC's Children in Need last Friday (A big charity show they have here in the UK every year) which also shows the trailer for this year's Doctor Who Christmas special.

Doctor Who Christmas Special

Thoughts? I'm actually looking forward to this one, especially after how good last year's one was.
