I have to admit I am a little disappointed in the whole Mutant Dinosaurs. Even the toys look like "Hey we ran out of Dinos even though there are over 9000 species". Any way I want a Rex to act as Jayna's Rex Form so.

I'm perfectly fine with the mutant dinosaurs.. It actually makes a lot of sense to me.

What I'm disappointed with are the toys.. They're awful.

Perhaps they don't realize that fans of the original movie are all grown up and would like a couple decent versions of these dinosaurs as well.

I mean.. I came across a few of the originals that I had just yesterday.. These new ones don't really show any improvement.. Hell, I think the big original T. rex is a hell of a lot better looking than this new one.

I'm really hoping another company gets the JW license so that we can get really nice accurate, in scale, and articulated version of these dinosaurs.

Okay a dinosaur toy with sounds makes perfect sense but why does it have lights? Does it have atomic blasts like Godzilla? Did the scientists engineering the Whateversaurus Rex throw in lights somehow for funzies?

Looks like I'll be buying these for my kids after we see the movie. Kinda disappointed in the quality though. The ones form the 90s seem , at least compared to these pics, to be well above them. Oh well I can mix the old with the new.

The old toys looked better than some of these, they have always been mutant dinosaurs, never on real dinosaur in any of the movies.

i think it's time for hot toys to give us some 1/18th scaled dinosaurs.. now THAT would be incredibly awesome.

SO far I have got the chomping trex, electronic raptor blue, and the target exclusive raptor 4 pack (which are huge). Electronic blue is smaller then the 4 pack. I found that weird.

Yeah they are not all that great. The figures they did for the first couple movies were better but as a fan I had to have them.

They looked okay but kind of cheap. Especially compared to the stuff I had when i was little. That big T-Rex from the first movie was awesome.

yeah that one t-rex figure that seems to have leg articulation is like the only figure that i may get.

it's really sad what they've done with this line.. they REALLY could've made these figures in a way that would've appeased both little kids and collectors, but clearly they couldn't care less about collectors.

i don't understand why it's so difficult for a company to make a line of articulated dinosaurs.. i mean, the only one i can think of is the revoltech t-rex.

hell.. i would've preferred that PAPO had gotten the jurassic world license.. even those figures only really have articulated jaws, they still look unbelievable and the articulated jaws look great. an awesome line of PAPO jurassic world dinosaurs, all in scale with each other, would've been a lot cooler than the garbage that's on the shelves now. i mean, the raptors don't even have articulated jaws.. would it have really put them in the poor house to give the raptors articulated jaws?.. something like that should be a given on those figures.

i was also checking out the target exclusive 4 pack of raptors.. non of their feet have the proper claws.. it's ridiculous.

this line is CLEARLY designed for kids who don't know any better.

Well they are in the toy aisle. If they were meant to be collected to begin with it would say adult collector or sold online only.
