So what will this cost?

Also will there be preorder? Will it be in store? Is it just through Mattycollector?

They said a "Day of Item" so it is a Mattycollector website exclusive, they will NEVER do pre orders again (Only have ever done it with Castle Greyskull and that was a mess). With the sdcc Doomsday being 35$ , I am guessing that Unleashed will be 45$- 50$.

NO. NO. Yes. To be honest Stores do not work this Item would never get to 50% of us if it went to stores

You would only need a subscription if you wanted to get DDU during Early Access (EA is one of the perks of a sub). Standard Access is open to the general public.

Doomsday Unleashed is not a re-tool. It's a brand-new mold.

I think it's the same one, though my memories of the 2013 prototype are admittedly fuzzy.

Early Access is highly annoying and in this case I doubt this figure will make it to "Day of" which means this isn't Day of

Most of this figure is not a Re-Tool. By most I mean the Buck will be similar to Kilowog (Just like Arkillo, Validus, Brimstone, Bound Doomsday)

It is the Same as was shown at SDCC 2013 just with all the Bells and Whistles (Painted, Boxes, Accessories {btw the cape is Cloth})

^ Lol, early access is only "highly annoying" if you don't have early access.

Early access is retarded. It shoudl only pertain to the figures from a specific sub. If you have the MOTUC sub, you should only be allowed to get the MOTUC stuff. It isn't the DC fans' fault they did not get a sub. Why should those that tried to sub be punished?

I get why they have it but at the very least the people who did sign up for the DC Sub should have been granted Early Access as well. I know people keep saying that it is not a Punishment but how is it right that we might not get an Item we payed for

It could happen, but we can only speculate at this point. There are all kinds of factors that could affect its availability.

Have a little faith.

Just because it will be similar in scale to other oversized DCUC figures does not mean it shares any parts with any previous oversized figure.

Figures that share engineering design are not the same thing as figures that actually share parts (i.e. some parts are produced using the exact same mold as a previous figure).

I wouldn't go so far as to call it names, but I agree with your overall point. Once all the other subs stopped, the most fair solution would have been to restrict EA to MOTUC figures.

(And I'm just going to ignore the blame-game comment. No need to keep poking the hornets' nest on that one.)

If an item gets sold out before you have a chance to buy one, then you haven't exactly paid for anything yet, have you?

Also, keep in mind that just because you might be a DC fan and a DCUC collector, that fact doesn't grant you any special entitlements. Mattel doesn't really owe you anything, even if you might feel otherwise.

This guy is Early Access first?

Damn, looks like I'll hafta find out why it doesn't work for me now. Even with a sub I haven't been able to see EA stuff when it goes up at Matty, but since I haven't cared anyway (stopped collecting the line) I never bothered trying to find out why it doesn't work for me.

When you go to the Mattycollector site, do you click on subscriptions? There's a tab/button for Early Access at the top. Sign in there and you'll see the Early Access stuff.

Well, my hopes of getting this Doomsday for a reasonable price are squashed.

Do the Total Heroes Ultra get sold to subscribers early too? I already wasn't liking my odds of getting that Batman Beyond...

No, I figured that all I had to do was sign in like I was going to buy from the store normally.

Thanks man!

Matty | News

Here is most of the News Regarding Doomsday Unleashed... I would say release is most likely November either the Main Release or Black Friday.

That photo is just terrible it looks like a Total Heroes Doomsday.

So if it takes 9 months for a toy to be mass produced, that means Mattel had to have started production on Doomsday no later than April, meaning they knew all along that were going to release him. So yeah, they definitely lied to us for the last several months.

Honestly I am not surprised we are getting Doomsday even when they said it was a "No Go" why would Mattel just walk away from something they made the Molds for. They know from basically a Year of being told "We will buy it" they will make money. Will this Doomsday help Mattel move back to #1 in the Toy Market as Vince McMahone would say it "No Chance in Hell" don't be surprised if Hasbro gradually moves to #2 with Mattel Slipping to #3 if they keep going this way.

Trebleshot are you asking us to have faith in a company that lies so often that it's like breathing to them???? Next thing I'll do is 1) Buy a bridge that connects Brooklyn and Manhatten.
