You mean someone at Hot Toys thought making an actual Venom figure (as opposed to another character dressed as Venom) was a good idea?

It looks really good for being vinyl. But it's hard to tell what's going on exactly with the legs. Most of the dynamic poses seem to have the legs at almost 90 degrees and the torso isn't moving at all. Arms are similar. These pics are pretty deceivingly good. The problem is that there's no big display piece coming with this and would be hard to recreate on that stand they give you.

Bah. Isn’t screen accurate, sadly. Face is slightly off. That said, it’s still pretty good. The faces on the tendrils looks ridiculous. Hope that’s not a hint of things to be in Venom 2. I have the Bullethead SM3 Venom, but could easily see people wanting to have both.

Um, Venom can't make big blades and spears out of his body. Why would Hot Toys do it with the figure? That's horribly inaccurate.

Hey man, they couldn't be bothered to watch that snoozefest of a movie either, so I don't blame them for inaccuracies

That is Fantastic! If i was still buying HotToys I would be very tempted to get him- heck, if he had some sort of diorama base that would work with my Marvel Legends it would be enough of an excuse to get him... a big fear though would be that he picks up a spider logo in two and they would make that one also- leaving this logo-less Venom as a sad afterthought...
