We finally have release dates for S.H. Figuarts Broly, SSGS Vegeta and a new face. I blurred the name out in the title on purpose. I don’t know how to handle this; maybe a mod can decide how they want to approach the situation. Apparently footage of the character got revealed but I didn’t know he was in the movie until I saw the figure. If you don't want the big surprise of the Super movie spoiled you might have to stay clear of this thread. And the internet. Good luck.

Anyways, Broly comes out in April as a retail release and costs 7800¥ (nice, I thought he would cost over 9000 ), SSGS Vegeta will be a Web-Exclusive release in May for 5500¥ and the new guy is a retail release in April for 5500¥.

No word on pre-orders quite yet, they can't be far away though.

You've got to be kidding me. I understand they want to get in on the movie hype, but having both release in April is gonna hurt. And why is there no release reveal for the new SSB Goku they showcased?

Yeah, I'm guessing he drops in June/July there, just in time for the summer con season. That, or the mold will be ready so they can do a variant at same time for SDCC etc.

You're totally right. I'm guessing those SSG forms from the trailers?

Apart from Gogeta, the Goku/Vegeta dont really seem different from the SSJ counterparts. I guess we never got a regular SS head for Goku but what I meant is that the body looks to be the "Saiyan raised on Earth".
.... or maybe I am trying to find an excuse not to spend over 150 pounds on all of them :/

I really like Broly's new look (in general, but especially in figure form), I think his proportions work a lot better this time around and he looks like a more balanced figure. So I may actually buy him this time around (although he will be very expensive for sure judging by his size....).
Really cant wait for the reveal of the accessories etc. Hype !!

My collecting goals for this line are essentially complete, but it’s good to see the line still going strong with steady releases. I am kind of hoping they redo or re-release Picollo, since I joined the line right after he sold out. And he is also fairly outdated

I've got to double check, but I think I'm good budget wise for that month. I think these are the only things come out then for me.

Gogeta is a pass for me, but maybe I change my mind when I see the movie (despite the fact that is already sold out everywhere XD)

Are these the first canon appearances of both Broly and Gogeta?

As a side note, I really hope they redo Broly's origin because I always thought his original one (including his motivation for hating Goku) was incredibly stupid, which IIRC was Goku crying when they were both babies.

I believe it was said Broly being in this movie makes him canon but I could be wrong. I would assume the same for Gogeta too then
