Marcus Fenix - Gears Of War

I posted on here the other day asking for ideas for a recipe for this guy, I couldnt really come up with any decent bare arms that were like Marcus' arms (i didnt want to have to pay over £10 just for some MU arms either)

So I decided to just go with his appearance in the original gears / gears 2 as thats what he is instantly recognisable as wearing. he is more known for the silver that the bown look like in gears 3.

His arms are a little smaller than I would have liked on the base figure but they will do. I dont have much to work with and this is the best I could manage with what I had.

so here he is...

Omega I totally sculpted the face. I used to Logan that came in the 2 pack with Sabertooth and the bike from the Origins Wolverine line.

All there was left of the Logan that I used after I had dremmelled most of it to mulch was the eyes, nose and mouth. I had to sculpt his jaw line, cheeks (with sculpted scar) side burns, ears, goatee thing and bandana.

This was the head I used... (except mine was in different colours)...

She has little to no interest in Warhammer, I on the other hand, do. Thing is, I hate the Space Marines with a passion, so I'll stick with Fire Warrior =D

i have never played warhammer (nor will i) and i knew nothing of it until last week when my future brother in law explained the premise of the space marines to me as the game was coming out and i absolutely love the story. its brilliant.

im about half way through the game and its awesome. brilliant third person shoot em up!

Tiberius you hate them??? dont even tell me why, dont ruin it for me! lol.

and dont give me any jip when i post my space marine custom possibly tomorrow night!!! LOL.

i had a quick read of the necrons. sounds like the collectors from mass effect. maybe it was the necrons that inspired them to write the collectors. they creaters of mass effect freely admit they were heavily influenced by alot of other media such as aliens, battlestar gallactica, star wars etc. maybe even warhammer here.

space nazis?? whats wrong with them? all they want to do is protect mankind... so they have to kill a few million sentiest species to do it, atleast its not humans they are killing.. unless they are traitors!!

anyway Tiberius, ask your GF what other game characters she thinks i should make. and do you have any suggestions?? other than GL guy gardner?? lol

io dont think im going to make any more gears. i dont have the parts for another gears character and i want to make characters that look different from each other. the armour would be very similar for Dom and thats a bit of a waste of time for me to make aother custom like that. lol. i need something fresh!!

...saying that i bet in the future i bleedin make him now.
