Looks like just another He-Man action figure... They really need to retire that ancient buck

I wish he had an unhelmeted head. I just don't like the helmet (not to mention it looks like it is squeezed pretty tightly on his head). Also, I didn't realize at Toy Fair that he has no double jointed elbows and knees. That's lame.

However, I hope this leads to a full blown Conan line. I'd love to have the likes of Belit, Xanthul, Thoth-Amon, Yag-Kosha, to even animated characters such as Wrath-Amon, Zulu, Greywolf, Jasmine, etc.

As a life long Conan fan, I kinda hate this figure. As Kain said, we've got TWO heads and BOTH have that lame helm, plus he's just too stocky. I don't see someone with this build being able to move with the steely grace of a jungle cat.

Holy shit, I just learned he's $35 before shipping. That is way too much for a figure using a buck from a decade ago and such a small amount of accessories.

I think the head of the Conan figure they showed at Toyfair might not have been set on the neck correctly cause the pic shown here doesnt have the giraffe neck going on. Also I guess the actual figure is going to have that shiny plastic skin like their He-Man.

That seems to be the base price for any and all of their 7" releases.

Which is quite outrageous since I had issues paying $25 for them back in 2013. The fact that he doesn't at least have double jointed elbows and knees is ridiculous.

Does anybody else here remember a beautiful line of Conan figures from about 15 years ago? I remember detailed paint apps and sculpts that looked like they came straight from a page drawn by Sal Buscema or his ilk. I think there was even a figure of classic Red Sonja. I don't remember much in the way of articulation, but the overall appearance of the figures was just gorgeous.

McFarlane did some comic Conan staction figures years back, those might be what you're thinking of.

If you are talking about the line I think you are, they were pratically statues.

I will take anything Conan at this point (what happened to the Funko Conan line they showed last Toy fair?). This piece has its faults but I’m still excited to get it. Maybe we will see a Hasbro Marvel Legends Conan soon!

I really wish Super7 would offer a non-helmeted head. That's the only real flaw here. Conan only wore this helmet early in the Marvel comics and went helmetless soon after. Offering an alternate headsculpt with the same helmet sculpted on it is really frustrating.

I wonder if it's too late for them to include another headsculpt in the set before this figure is manufactured and shipped later this year.

I doubt he can do a two handed grip on this sword, either. Some companies love those upper bicep swivels, but they limit posing.

The obvious reason he doesn't come with a helmetless head is so they can sell you mostly the same figure again later with a new head.

Being 7" would make him less jungle cat like, perhaps a small monkey would be better. Also this is based n the artwork, so in the artwork he has a head gear. I hope they can do some villains

There's no way he'll get a 2 hand pose w/ the size of his arms and chest, but I fail to see how adding articulation can limit posing?

You’ve obviously never owned any of McFarlane’s Halo figures.

It's not adding, it's how they chose to make the arms swivel. They use that upper arm swivel instead of an elbow swivel. Swiveling the bulky biceps inhibits some poses or at least it does on similar figures I've owned. There's the arugments about how an actual human arm moves and aesthetics and such, but humans aren't made of plastic.

I love Conan, but I don't really see much of the Cimmerian in this figure. For some reason he looks more like a Filmation character.
