WB keeps saying they are gonna make a new live action He-Man film, and I've heard the name Brad Pitt thrown around, and what with Transformers's success, I see this film happning someday in the near future once it gets a solid foothold.
That said, heres my fantasy casting. and this is 2002 series rules so Cringer dosent talk. the greatest problem with casting the film though is the He-Man/Prince Adam Duality. Do you get one actor to play both? or do you go 2 actors? its not as easy as the Hulk where you can CGI him. your essentially transforming a man into another man and this could only really work if they were genetic brothers. so because of this, I'm only going to cast He-Man.

He-Man - Karl Urban

Eomer, The Guy from Doom, Leonard Bones McCoy, and Judge Dredd. Guy is perfect for the Role of He-Man.

Man-At-Arms - Ted Levine

If youve seen Monk, youve seen Ted Levine. Take Captain Stottlemyer, make him a lil more grizzled, and add him protecting a great secret, and you have Man-At-Arms of the Eternian High Command.

Teela - Natalie Portman

Teela has to be beautiful, but also has to kick ass. anybody whose talked to me about favorite actors knows I am a huge natalie portman fan and if youve seen Your Highness, you know she can bust out the fighting skills

Orko - Voice of Andy Serkis

For Orko, I envision a bit of motion capturing where they blank out his legs. with Orko, Serkis can be his playfull side that we've seen with good Smeagal or young Ceaser. I'm also banking on the fantastic work he does with his eyes to convey the facial features of Orko

Sorceress - Cate Blanchett

Who better for the mother of Teela than the Elf Queen Galadriel

King Randor - Liam Neeson

Lessee....He Trained Batman and Obi-wan Kenobi. He freed many Jews in WW2. He was Zeus, and now I he should be the Father of He-Man

Stratos - Ray Park

my vision of Stratos is a much more Nimble bodied man than what he is portrayed. bringing the superb martial artist into this role adds a for a agile birdman who will sour through the skys of eternia.

Skeletor - Kevin Bacon

He played a fantastic villain in X-Men First Class, and is versatile. he can play some really evil characters and give great villainous rants. I say Bacon is the best choice for Skeletor, and for Breakfast.

Evil-Lynn - Helena Bonham Carter

An actress that needs to shine as much as Skeletor in villainy and over the top. she has to be sexy, and evil. purely evil, hence her name.
Who better than the woman who murdered Sirius Black?

Beastman - Kevin Nash

He was Super Skeletor, and the Russian from the Thomas Jane Punisher Film. Former WWE Champion Kevin Nash, now mostly retired pro wrestler, is a good choice for Beastman. It'll ensure he's a big in stature monster of a man.

Triclops - Ray Stevenson

Guys big, but can also act great. he can play a smarmy warrior who speciallizes in tech

Trapjaw - The Great Khali

Another Prowrestler, Skeletor needs powerhouses behind him. Khali has some acting chops with his roles in Get Smart and the Longest Yard and they can synthesize his voice real good

My only suggestions would be to swap out Nash for Paul Levesque (HHH) as Beastman and add Doug Jones (Abe Sapien in Hellboy) as Merman.

I really like the idea of Ray Park as Stratos. Plus, he doesn't have to talk very much, either. Stratos always struck me as a very stoic character.

You mean "Super Shredder", but you had He-man on the brain so I forgive you.
