This guy and Dr. Strange were scarce for me, never saw that Astral variant, let alone regular Strange. Anyways..

Finally found the 2 at a new Walmart that opened up. Still no sign of Astral Strange but whatever. Strange has STRANGE face paint apps. He looks silly. Articulation kicks ass otherwise except for that PVC skirt hindering his hips. Stuff like that bothers me. See this is the reason I like cloth, sure it might look weird but hell if it doesn't hinder articulation, I am all for it, especially for skirts/loin cloths, whatever.

Son of Hulk beats WW Hulk in 1 primary area; HANDS! He can actually GRIP his sword worth a damn. See this is why I hate seeing Hasbro figures packaged with weapons in hand, it ruins their grip! Good thing Hasbro did the smart thing and just packed the sword next to the hand rather than in the hand.

Pretty happy I found them. MU has been hit or miss with me this year, some figures I wasn't able to find, some new ones I stumbled upon. For example, I am glad I stumbled upon ASX Wolverine and Magneto as I have not seen them since the month I saw them. That wave came and went over here.

Namor is shelfwarming. Now I actually think Namor is an ass and normally don't like him. HOWEVER, his figure kicks ass.

Oh, and Dr. Strange's hands? Come on Hasbro...Spiderman is BEGGING for them! I bet Hasbro will kitbash black Spiderman with Dr. Strange's legs, and hands...thigh swivels, rocker ankles, swivel/hinged wrists...COME ON DO ET HASBRO!

I'm on the hunt for an Astral Strange as well, I was lucky to snag the regular and might be able to find you 1 if need be, but the variant is nowhere to be found. I wouldn't minding picking 1-2 up and flight stands to create the illusion of him meditating off into the distant. As for Skarr I was lucky to find him, not sure to be honest which base I got, not a true completist I don't need 2 of the same figure just because of a diff base.

Ooh I think Astral Strange is going to be a hard one to get. I did see him when that wave came out the first time, but it was before I really got into collecting and passed on him, now I wish I hadn't....than again so many other figures I've seen and I've passed on in the past...

I solved WW hulks problem with tape. Bad job on the companies part, but tape works well.

I am only just now starting to see the regular Strange. When the wave first came out I found 4 Astral Stranges all just sitting on the pegs. I had to look online and see which one was supposed to be the variant. I passed on him at the time thinking I'd rather have the regular version and a collector would pick up the variant.

dang, I just traded a Zarana for one Andy, after my huge haul I still have a few holes to fill. Let me know if you are looking for anything else to trade for or if I may buy some stuff that doesn't sell or you haven't listed. Also do you still have the Electro's? I'm looking to see which version I have (matte vs. glossy) Number stamped 01891

I understand why Shin started the thread.

I would too if I found an older wave I missed out on that I really wanted and was excited about it.

Plus, conversation on a toy forum is always good, especially if it is new conversation.

Just saying.

Dun' mattur. Honestly, though Son of Hulk is easy to pass, along with the Strange. I would of liked a Scarlet Spider stand, never came across one .

I'm really not sure which is rarer, but it seems like the initial shipments had SS standing up with the SS stand, and ever since they've been the packaged upside down with Spiderman stands... which is all I see in stores by me.

My understanding is the right-side up Scarlet Spider figure with the Scarlet Spider stand is the rarer of the two. The upside-down Scarlet Spider figure with the Spider-man stand is more common.

Congrats to Shin on the find. I too have never seen the astral version of Dr. Strange, although I've seen the colored Dr. Strange on numerous occasions in both Target and Wal-Mart stores in my area.

Glad I grabbed that standing Scarlet Spider-Man than, I do prefer that one over the upside down one.

This is a thing called a forum. Obviously Skaar is not new, hence why I did not frontpage my find nor did I post this in the news and rumors forum, this thread is right where it belongs, in the Marvel toys forum.

Now, back to the topic. I gotta check the stand, honestly I just tossed it aside, hope I didn't lose it.
