Ehh... I'm not going to start over AGAIN with yet another scale. I'm fine with the 6" Black Series line.

They look pretty cool, but what's with that expression on Maul's face...

In the packaging shot, Maul looks ok to me. But the out of packaging pics don't make him look great. Hoping it's just the lighting/pic quality and it looks better in hand.

It's basically the worst looking small scale Maul and it should be better or at least even since they're a larger scale and have a little more room to work with.

I prefer a snarling Darth Maul to a placid one. His teeth aren't yellow enough though.

The "motion blur" lightsaber blades for Maul look like they are dripping with red licorice.

Those of you who are sticklers for quality are not going to find it here. I feel like they chose these two first cause their faces are fairly obscured and such. The head sculpts of their Kingdom Hearts figures are pure uncanny valley/cringe... doesn't bother me much, but sticklers won't handle it.

The biggest thing that bothers me about DST is how they don't stick with licenses. They make like four waves max for a line and move onto something else.

Do they not come with background pieces? That would be the only reason I would even buy these as the only appeal to me from Diamond's figures are the display pieces.

So I can't actually post links but if you check the main page there's a picture of Maul on card and you can see some sort of silver piece creeping through the bottom right.

That's what I was looking at, but I can't tell from those shots. I'm actually not seeing what you are talking about at all.

There's nothing there, there's just the bend of the plastic bubble and you see the black WARNING sticker through the plastic and it looks grey. So yeah they don't come with anything else.

Got mine pre-ordered. I'll get a couple from this line (depending on how far it goes) just enough to have some StarWars guys that can scale with my NECA stuff for some cross-universe shenanigans
