figma may very well be my favourite line, not only do they have great figures, but GSC has an awesome costumer support that replaced an arm for me free of charge.

Instant buy for me

My only nitpicking is that the shoulders feel a tad too broad (just a little), his arms are too toned/ripped in-game he was toned not a body builder, and lastly the skin tone should be closer to the cloth color PH was fairly pale. So really my problem is he looks too big (in the muscle department which also accounts for shoulders), the head and body with boots look good, but the arms are just too muscular. I'm a huge fan of Silent Hill 2 (easily my favorite horror game) so having it be as close as it can to the game look is key for me and this figure just misses the mark (that price doesn't help its case either).
I sure hope it comes with a "forces itself upon your other action figures" feature.

Well there are no other options for a PH figure, but $46 is too much for a nearly 8" figure that could've looked closer to source material. It's either this figure or a statue that's way bigger and better looking, but you know, it's a statue so it costs a lot more and just sits there and looks nice. Just my thoughts.

The price cannot be helped, this is a Japanese toy after all.

He looks accurate to me. SH2 is not the only time PH appears. There is the movie and the fifth game.

with revoltech, figma and figuarts, you really get what you pay, highly articulated figures with an extreme level of detail, and tons of accesories, best bang for your buck.

It is true that Japanese figures tend to cost more than we'd like. Pyramid Head is after all kind of the franchise mascot so it does show up in a good deal of the installations. This figure though is clearly the original Silent Hill 2 rendition, what with the spear and flat-front pyramid (Homecoming and the film version cut a side out and give it an edged front). It's not bad at all, I just note that the arms are too muscular and the skin tone should be paler. Something I've noticed often from Japanese toy companies making non-anime figures is they tend to beef 'em up to accommodate the amount of pose they want it to have, which makes PH look like it's been lifting more than usual and developed wider shoulders, not totally bad, but technically off. Here is the Silent Hill 2 render of Pyramid Head for comparison.

Not always, for instance I'm very displeased with the monsterarts wolf predator. It is shorter than it should be, as far as on shelf next to other toys at all, and while highly articulated the details fell short of expectations(possibly due to size, NECA predators I own dwarf that guy and thus have more room for little details). The accessories were cool, but not justifying of Japanese mark-ups on price. Japanese toy companies do well with Japanese licenses, but I'll pay less to get bigger, more accurate, albeit often less posed American toys for my Sci-fi/Horror genres. If I could afford all their offerings I'd certainly have a full Godzilla shelf and Pyramid Head would be joining them, but I'm a realist not a six-digit earner (not saying all people who buy Japanese import toys are crazy rich, but they must certainly be allowing more toy budget than I do).
