Aw sweet! Looks awesome! My only gripe is that it seems like the weapons storage is fake but otherwise I like this a lot. EDIT: Wait, nevermind, there are no separate blade handles shown among the accessories, his scabbards might actually be functional! Yus!

Also, the DX version will be available on AmiAmi? Then I have no reason to not buy it!

Why, OH WHY do I feel like the DX version is going to come close to $100?

The standard release might be enough for me, but if the DX is reasonable (around or below $70) then I might take a looksee.

The DX version of the ALBW Link also had a bunch of extra weapons and accessories and was like 1000 Yen (8-10 bucks) more I think.

But of course, no one knows how much this will be. A whole new lower body is something I haven't seen before.

I'll take a look too since it will be on AmiAmi which means I won't have to go through the Goodmsile webshop. If it's still too expensive I probably go with the regular version as well.

Very solid figure. I'll get the DX & the Mezco One:12, that should be it for 1/12 deadpools!

I don't like the brown holsters and straps, and would've really liked some changing eyes instead of heads. Otherwise it looks awesome

Cool looking figure! I gotta say though, what is with the unpainted guns? Did they look at the Marvel Legends version and think it was comic accurate? Seems like the higher price point figures would at least paint the guns.

He's got torso for daaaaaaaaaaaays!

Wonder if with some modifications, you can swap the alternate legs/pants pieces onto ML Deadpool.

Buy DX version > sell off everything else > put pants on ML DP?

Hmmmm...

I know the Amazing Yamaguchi DP was really stylized, but this one by Figma looks WAY better. The accessories really put it over the top as well. Kudos to Figma for thinking outside the box with the boxer shorts accessory. It might just be the accessory of the year overall for action figures in terms of creativity.

Figma's figures tend to change just a bit though on the way to the final product, so I'm curious to see how the finished product turns out.

Maybe some paint on the guns... That's the only (minor) downside for me so far

As a comic book fan, I am not too impressed to be honest. It looks like they went for the more cinematic-Ryan Reynolds- look of Deadpool, so I think I ll stick to Revoltech's version that is more visually interesting to me.

No this is basically how he's looked in the comics for awhile now, it actually has more obvious armor bits than the movie look.

Both this Figma figure and the Revoltech Deadpool are based on the same costume from the comics, the one he's been using for the past couple of years.

I am not talking about the suit which more or less is similar in both media but rather for the musculature, expressions and "vibes" of the figure.

why couldn't they just make a more of a variation than a straight up exact copy of the same suit used for the revoltech version? seriously?! or at the least a different color scheme like the x-force version. when I saw this, I thought 'easy pass.' its the same damn figure with different joints. its like the iron man mark 42 from sh figurarts and the figma version. both are practically identical, but I know if the figma version is like the mark 7 and their deceptive promotion pictures, the mark 42's gauntlets are also attached to the wrists, not the palms. what I'm saying is, their is always some flaw in one that's makes one better than the other. I'm still on the fence. I'm here looking at my revoltech Deadpool and looking at pics of this figma, and the exact suit is what bugs me. sigh.

That warning means nothing amiami.
It's just telling you it's meant for sale in Japan and you will be subject to all conversation fees and shipping.

thank you. I said the same thing, and everybody jumped all over me on another site. come one. it's one's preference. I was not wowed. then in action poses with the exact same outfit as the revoltech version- I gotta say, it looked weak compared to the revoltech's styled version. I submit for consideration:

I prefer the overall look of the figma one, the Revoltech stylizing and joints are just not my cup of tea. That's all there is to it really.

If you can enjoy Revoltech's Deadpool then good for you, I can't and I'm glad another Japanese company got a shot at the comic version of Deadpool. Sure they are based on the same source material but they look different enough to me, not like the Iron Man scenario you use for comparison, so I don't get why the figma Deadpool shouldn't exist. Or why they should go with a different costume all together.

@Topic: After seeing the price of the DX version I decided to do with the regular one instead. The lower body with the boxers is neat but I don't know if I would use it all that often. Same with the weapons really, I don't like the rifles all that much and I don't need the Sais either.

So instead of paying for accessories I don't really want and using a retailer I have no other orders with for it I decided to hit up my local comic shop instead.
