The Figma thread

I love Figma... it's my fav import toy. I have 5 of them and when Figma Rei Ayanami comes out I will have 6. But if they weren't around $40 each I would have at least 10 of them.

I currently have:

Figma Yuki Nagato
Figma Yuki Nagato (evil witch version)
Figma Kagami Hiiiragi (winter uniform version)
Figma Kagami Hiiragi (summer uniform version)
Figma Rider

And my dream fig is Figma Shiki Ryougi from Kara no Kyoukai. And I also have a Revoltech Yoko (movie version) from Gurren Lagann, but that's only because Figma didn't make a Yoko for some reason so I had to get the Revoltech one.

well it's been almost a year since I last posted here and a year since I started collecting figma's. My collection is up to 12. I'm at a 1 per month clip right now.

Figma Rei Ayanami comes out this month I think. I also wouldn't mind getting the Figma Senjougahara... from Bakemonogatari.

Waiting for Figma Xenosaga Kos-mos ver 4 to come out next month. It will be my first Figma figure.

hey guys, just got into the figma line, I mostly collect haruhi suzimiya figures,
my first one is yuki nagato, and I picked up ryoko asakura at a convention, getting haruhi soon, and tsuruya is on the way. This is probably the only series I would get. i saw they made a Lum and kagome, but no ranma? what the heck, I would buy that character in a heart beat!

all and all I think this line is awesome! and the articulation is amazing!

So far I only have two Figmas because I don't tend to buy stuff online nor venture out to Japantown as often as I would like to.

I really hope to get some more when I hit my local anime con this year, possibly a Yuki Nagato or a Mio or hell anything.

*high five* Yuki Nagato is my 2nd fav anime character (1st is Rei Ayanami of course, lol). But honestly... after seeing The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya movie... my love for Ayanami is faltering just a bit. LOL.

I wouldn't mind getting a Asakura figma, but only to do a knife fight scene, other wise I don't like her too much. Tsuruya is a fun & energetic character, but not Figma worthy IMO. LOL.

Oh... and I HATE Haruhi Suzumiya. LOL. But I wouldn't mind getting the Figma Junior High Suzumiya or Kouyou Academy Suzumiya because that one comes with the Figma embarrassed Nagato face I think: http://i93.photobucket.com/albums/l7...miyaKouyou.jpg

I just love the feel & look of all the Figma stuff... just too bad they average around $40 per fig. Still... they are so much better than Revoltech IMO.

as for mikuru...I really don't like her, i mean she okay I guess, but i'm no rush to get her at the moment. I like tsuruya a lot more,I wish she were in more episodes!

Yeah, It's a series of 3 rpgs, and one crappy looking anime. google Kos-mos vs Telos to see her in action. She gets upgraded after that fight.

Wow. It's from a videogame? I knew that Xenosaga is like super popular because lots of people were like salivating for the Xenosaga Figmas when they were announced... but I always thought it was because of an anime. LOL.

no I haven't, I'm waiting on the dub, but I saw the trailer and I'm hyped!!, I really really really want a movie version kyon figma!,

I've seen the nagato nendoroid, but I really have no interest in any of nendoroid except the love plus rinko one, but they're pretty expensive!, so I'm a wait for a sale.

IMO it is the second greatest anime movie ever (The Girl Who Leapt Through Time is permanently #1, lol). And I watched S1 of TMOHS with the Dub, but then I watched the Japanese language version of S2, The Disappearance' movie & The Melancholy of Haruhi-chan chibi series.

So it is weird, for like the Day of Sagittarius & Live Alive eps only, I actually prefer the English Dub, but for everything else and especially the movie... I need the Japanese language version. LOL. Seriously... Disappearance' version Yuki Nagato's Japanese voice is so wonderfully cute compared to regular version Nagato's Japanese voice. I seriously doubt the English dub can mimic how different the two voices of both Yukis are.

I want that new Nendo Yuki because that is like the only Disapperance' Yuki Nagato fig out there I think. Disappearance' Yuki Nagto like blew my mind and all my figs are regular Nagatos. LOL.
