Figure of the day isn't going to be around anymore.

"We LOVE our loyal fan base and customers who have rooted for Figure of the Day from day one! We are SAD that we have to say goodbye to the business, but most of all, to our community!

Here at Figure of the Day, we poured every DROP of PASSION into every sale that was made, every package that was packed, and every customer that entered our site, sadly, it was not enough. We have done all we can with the very small team and resources we have. Our dream was to expand and be the Nordstrom of the Pop Culture World, by giving GREAT customer service, free shipping and LOW prices. Now we are offering a fan of the site a chance to take Figure of the Day to the NEXT LEVEL!

Our goal is that Figure of the Day's domain stays within the Pop Culture community, but it is open to everyone. I LOVED this freaking site, it makes me so sad to see it go now....

Were their prices really all that great? Honestly, every time I ventured over there they were charging full retail on items that were readily available for same or cheaper on the 'Bay or B/S/T.

It does suck that another option is going away. It was a fun concept.

I agree with you here. The prices were never really great, it was more just the concept. I never actually bought anything there myself.

I will miss them. I got a $30 shipped Play Arts Master Chief from them, plus won a contest for the Marvel Select Movie Spidey/Lizard figs.

I bought all my MS figs. about 21 each free shipped. Beats ebay.

NEWS: Somebody bought figure of the day. It will be up and running eventually. Hopefully it was by some rich guy who just wants to tell people he runs a toy store
