Got Cable (without baby hope version). Almost bit the bullet and bought one at SDCC just because I was getting tired of not being able to find a Cable. But they were asking from $20-$50 for one :O. Woke up this morning and went to Wal-Mart for some dog food and stopped by the toy section and there he was. The only one. Not sure which is more rare with or without baby hope. But either way finally glad I got one |

I like your logic, would be in the same boats myself, if I found that wave I'd flip.

We got awhile yet Mask. It will take another 2+ months for Hasbro to make the Canadian packaging with 20 different languages

I assume I'm not going to win any points by saying i found a second cable to use for a custom? This one even had baby Hope. On the plus side it was a damaged card anyways.

Just found another hopeless cable at another Wal-Mart along with Cyclops. In Houston. I'll let you know which one just hit me up.

The cable with hope should be the harder to find version. I'd say pick up any Cables that you find as a lot of people are still looking for them, especially our buddies up north.

Hi! *waves* =3. We just got the WWH wave in Canadian packaging, anything else was a shipping mistake [you can tell because it was American packaging, and due to Canadian bi-lingual laws, they shouldn't of been on the shelf in the first place]. I know he will hit shelves at some point, but by that time, serious collectors will already have one from over the internet. So Cable, up here, will become a shelf warmer, like every other figure :P

If Cable becomes a peg warmer, I think I could deal with that. I'd buy 2-3 just to keep MOC as investment pieces.

My brother found me one without Hope and an Apocalypse. My Cable seems to have a stuck shoulder joint which I don't really care to move because the peg connecting his bicep is already straining. I dunno if this is a simple heat fix though for this type of joint.

What part of the shoulder joint? I know a fix if it doesn't move out and in...

It's the ball between the bicep and the torso. It's the inner disk that doesn't want to budge from the rest of the piece. Hard to describe. It moves a slight degree but then stops more like something is blocking it than if it was dried paint or something. It can move forward/back swing, but not inward or outward. My Archangel does that too but to a far less degree. |

Ah, should be a simple fix. I had a figure like that on his leg, and all I had to do was get an exacto knife and just stick it in that joint where they attach and just gently move it side to side and listen to the plastic/dried paint snap. You should only have to do it gently. I didn't even warm it up. As for my Black widow figure, shes the opposite, I should try and fix her again. Hope that made sense, if it is only paint and some random plastic it should work. Don't blame me if you break it though :P. I'd feel terrible if it broke

Am I the only one who obtained a Cable with Hope, and just wanted a solo Cable fig? My baby Hope is currently sitting inside my fodder box lounging it up with a couple of G.I. Joe vests and weapons. Maybe i'll break her out when I finally getting around to takign some pics.

You should sell your Hope chest piece. There's no doubt in my mind you can sell that for $10 shipped and then your Hopeless Cable was free.

You might get me, I've been paranoid lately that IF I ever find a cable fig, he'll come sans baby... The only evidence I found of that wave existing was a lone first appearance Wolvie. Fuckin' jerks took EVERY other new fig. Stores should shut down people like that. It may seem a bit silly, if you have the money, surely you should be able to buy whatever you want. It's just such a mean-spirited thing to do. I mean, what other new retail product could you not just go out and purchase somewhere? Fuck, they sell these things ALL OVER THE PLACE!

Dylan, I feel your pain. I've said it before, my TRU and walmarts are stalked by scalpers. I always find evidence (leftovers) of the Cable, Archangel wave, but *never* see them. It's so frustrating. Yet, ebay is ripe with them at doopid prices that I refuse to pay. I hope they are stuck with those figures and nobody buys them. Oops... I sound bitter. lol
