Damn, this is sick. More content it appears than the Transformers G1 encyclopedia, y a lot. Books are completed though so are they going to have to destroy the spine to add in the backer names/pics after funding? I have a buddy who loves turtles more than me, I think I just found his Xmas gift.

This is pretty awesome. However, I personally prefer everything to be listed chronologically instead of grouped by character. Oh well. Can't complain too much.

Now if somebody could just do this for every other 80 and early 90's toy line, I would be in heaven.

this is dope but they have a high goal for 33 days left! I would put in for this but what happens if they dont reach their goal? Do they keep your $$$ or give it back? I know nothing of kickstarter.

For Kickstarter, money is only collected if the funding goal is reached. If it falls short, then those who pledged pay nothing.

I'll pledge some money for the book as it would probably be something really cool to flip through. I hope they can meet their goal. I don't follow a lot of kickstarter projects but considering its only reached 30% of the total fund and has 33 days left it seems like it will be a tight finish.

As Joe Moore stated, they don't even collect your money if the project doesn't reach its funding goal. When you back a project, you commit to paying the amount of whatever pledge you select, but you don't actually pay anything until the project ends and is funded. If it is not funded, no harm, no foul.

The goal does seem really high for a coffee table book, though a really, really big one. They do have 33 days to go, but Kickstarters tend to get most of their backers/money during the first few days and last few days of their timeline. Given that most people are just going to pledge for a single book at $50, they would need over 1,000 backers to reach their goal of $58K. I'm not sure there are that many people out there who will go for it, but I do hope it is funded.

Oh sweet deal, I might pledge then, but seems like a high goal. Hopefully they reach it.
