Hey, Star Wars fans! Take a look at Sandtroopers.com's awesome Phantom Menace Movie Heroes shots! Slated for release in 2012, these figures will still include the gaming cards and chance cubes!

Enjoy!

just what we need....more of the same tired characters. Take some of those CW animated characters and make them in non animated form like Cad bane Ashoka, savage etc. Instead...we get a slight more articulated jar jar?!!!! WHHHHYYYYYY!!!! And seriously...they still havent moved of the t-crotches?!!!

Pass on all unless Amidala is fully articulated, which I'm beginning to doubt. Feels like 2003 with these figures.

COLLECTORS hated the guy. But then again, COLLECTORS were clamoring for the multi-breated Jabba Dancer that became the biggest shelfwarmer of the past 5 years.

Episode I is getting a new theatrical (including 3D!) release in February. Considering the kids big into SW now might not have even been BORN when the film first hit, there is hope it would ignite some interest in the film's merchandise.

That's what the "Vintage" line is for. Movie Heroes is replacement Saga Legends: kid centric realistic figures with little investment. The fact Hasbro has committed to some new tooling for this segment astounds me, but I also don't see a reason to get a fussy with articulation when these still sell by the buttload (and I'm curious to see how the action features effect sales among kids).

Hasbro has a nice super articulated set coming after the first of year, buy them, don't worry about the kid stuff.

You SURE it was just collectors?

And I don't think they were crazy about that Jabba dancer because they wanted an action figure of her...

steevy, You're kidding right? They are actually putting that back in theaters? I didn't even like it when it was new and I was a kid.

They should get somebody that isn't george lucas to adapt some of the books. Shadows of the empire would be a great start
