Amazing to be sure, but I'm getting a bit of a Hellraiser vibe from it. Odd.

Probably amazing for artists who either can't afford or have trouble finding live models for their work. Maybe someone should buy one for Rob Liefeld.

Holy cow, I'm surprised they didn't articulate her breasts. >_<

Geeze I wish I could afford that, and I wish there were a matching male, as well. But $300? You know... if they didn't make it so damned limited, this thing might be affordable. I'd pay $100 for it, but not $300.

Exactly, $300 is hot toys $$ and a good HT figure at that. This is amazingly detailed, but seems unfinished, like a raw canvas, which like mentioned would act as an amazing prop for animators/artists to reference from, but for $300 it would have to come as a pair and have tons of accessories. If it wasn't a limited run, or as limited, say 2000, then they could of made them $100-150.

Well, that's exactly what it's ment for, as an artist's buck. So a blank canvas is a good discription. The more clutter you put on it, the less useful it gets in terms of showing how a pose looks.
All those gaps and openings, aren't an issue, and all the contures and panels line closely with human musculature.
My god, even her arms look like they contort and twistthe way muscles do.

She's hideous as a display piece, but she is the most magnificent artistic tool I've ever seen.
I honestly can't recall wanting anything as badly as I want her.

Sure, if you ignore the obvious explanation I just gave. Then I can see your point.

I've reread it five times. Nowhere did you bother to explain how people you percieve to bitch at you over marvel legends has any significance here.
This isn't a marvel legend. Hasbro or Toybiz did not put this out, and it is not Captain america, or any other marvel character.
So yeah, bitching about people you think are bitching at you over a toyline that has no relevence in this topic/thread is completely random. Stop trolling.

Ah. Now I get it. And yes, I remember them quite vividly.

The big argument during the Toy Biz/Hasbro debate was about articulation - specifically was it possible to have too much articulation? Those who were on Toy Biz's side usually said that there should be enough for realistic movement, while the Hasbro ML side said that the TB figures had too many joints which hindered their ability to hold a pose or even stand.

As with most Internet debates, mudslinging on both sides was quite common. So I get Enigma's reference in regards to the SFBT-3. She has even more articulation than the Toy Biz figures ever did, and the "Hasbro ML-ers" would've probably hated on this even more than TB.

Thanks, guys. Yeah, that image pops into my head too. Also his "attempts" at drawing female super heroes.

@treb

But it still has no real connection to this.
There's... no comparison at all, really. I can't even think of an analogy that compairing this to an ML is even remotely like.
One's a toy. This is an art tool. I guess it's like compairing CoD to Photoshop, or SAI.
This isn't ment to be anything like a marvel legend. Thus, bitching about people who bitch about MLs is completely irrelevent to this topic. And like you said, completely random.
May as well pop into a transformer thread and bitch about car prices, or somethings.

Rather than derail the thread even further (my fault, really), I sent you a PM to try to better explain the reference.
