Nice, thanks for sharing. Are these from an upcoming two pack or a future single release?

Wonder if the seller will have individual auctions for the others as well.

Are we sure that's a BAMFing Nightcrawler? He also had the ability in the comics to fade into shadows, and that's more what that figure looks like.

Also, I'm pretty sure Storm always has white hair.

According to an older news post with Storm, the only difference is a white hue in her costume. Both have white hair.

That Night Crawler looks terrible. Glad I got the 2 pack.

Do not like the lame pen-&-ink effect on figures. Sigh. Looks like I'll be painting some Storms.

I'll need plenty extra Wakandan Queens anyway. Might as well put her in my trade list now.

That white crap on her cpstume has to go! She was the only reason I was going to buy the set and they go and do...that.
Why not jusr paint the black parts glossy instead- that's what the white stuff is supposed to represent anyway!

I like the storm, more so then the mohawk'd version that came with nightcrawlwer, but the nightcrawler is far superior then this guy. I kinda dig the clear parts for the teleport ability he has, but I think they should of done a solid see through version the same way they did with vision and Dr Strange, or add more articulation. The box set is a big iffy for me, I dig the comic art I seen on the box pics, but the figures are meh at best, the jim lee style Cyclops is superior to this 1, storm looks good, warpath is the same as the variant, wolverine is meh and the colosus looks more comic book feeling then the single carded version but not as detailed.. I would of prefered them do a Jim Lee cyclops, beast, gambit, storm, jean grey, professor x, rogue, jubilee, iceman, wolverine. To me these are the classic 90's xmen figures which we all grew up watching on tv, and bought the toys. I mean how awesome would a beast, rogue, jubille, gambit, prof x and a proper storm be?, we'd all pay out the ass for a customized version, I wish I had the power do make this happen.

That Storm is hideous. The mold is good, but those paint apps are the worst. White paint for shine? A metal ring PAINTED on her stomach? Just terrible. Come on, Hasbro. You can do better than that.

Lightning?
These are the variant versions. I think the regular set has normal Nightcrawler & Storm.
I hate painted on details too.

I agree painted on details typically suck, but sometimes with quality control issue, it's easy to paint on a detail then have it sculpted and the paint not match. I can't even count how many lil figures I look at and think I need to get some black paint and touch up the hair or flesh tone to touch up an ear or hand etc... I wish hasbro had greater detail in paint, sculpt and articulation but hard to expect more without paying more. The frost giant and Black Goliath figures are prime examples, pay an extra $15-20 compaired to a regular MU figure but get an awesome huge toy and basically a free MU figure.

I don't like the Storm figure at all, the details are terrible and it looks like Hasbro just cranked out another cheap figure to make money off of us. At this point in the game, I'm sure they realize by now that their target market isn't really young kids, otherwise they would be releasing the same crappy figures that Mattel is known for. That said, when I was younger I bought figures with a lot of articulation and good paint apps because it allowed my imagination to run wild. Also, this version of the Nightcrawler figure is ok, but it isn't generating any optimism for Hasbro's newer figures.

Truthfully....I'm buying this box to get Thunderbird. I know its a crazy waste of money but when you have it all going towards a single toy line you can do stupid stuff like that ahaha

Any of the variants they throw in there is bonus for me

You buy the box for Thunderbird and I'll gladly buy that Storm from you- that's the only figure I'd want from that set.

I totally agree with your reasoning on this- I bought six of the Soldier three packs for the SHIELD and HYDRA guys- I sure dont care about the Hand goon though.
Anyone colecting Hand soldiers? Trade ya...for any Hydra or Shield guys- three to one?
