What are some good stands to display marvel figures as if they were flying? I've used the older marvel legends stands, but theyre a little too much for my liking.

Post some pics of you can

I use Obitsu doll stands. I bought them from HLJ so check there if you like them.

Here's how I've used them.

Not much help, but mattycollector.com used to have flight stands for DCUC and MotUC. They don't lift 6" figures up noticably high at all, but the clips that hold the figures have three sizes each, and one appears to fit MU. If they ever come back in stock, I suggest them.

You can get creative with lots of things, but those flight stands are very boss.

Poor Man's Flight Stand - Toy Discussion at Toyark.com Tried this, works amazingly! Go out, buy some cheap coat hangers [metal of course] and make some. They look really cool too. However where you put the figure, I put electrical tape for extra padding for I don't damage my figures.

Have fun!

I use Stage 3 flight stands. They are only $4.99 with free shipping.
Stage Act 3 Action Support Type Figure Model Stand | eBay

These work pretty well.

Those look to be the same as the obitsu stands. Are they?

Functionally they are the same or similar. I can't speak to their quality as I don't have the obitsu stands. These work very well ... And are cheap!

From my Obitsu experience I have a few pointers to be aware of. Firstly, the base will tip fairly easily unless you center the poses. Secondly, even the smallest claw attachment can sometimes be a little too big to hold an MU size figure in the exact pose you want.

Having said that though I don't regret buying them at all.

Had a chance to read through that thread. Cool idea. All my hangers are plastic though. Had anyone done this with 3.75” figures? I kinda think a regular hanger would give my Marvel Universe figures a little too much height.
