So there's confusion going on in my brain currently about these new mighty minis. This post will have 2 parts; my current background knowledge of the line, and the questions I have about said line's continuity so far, let's get started

Part 1: Background
So correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems that not many people know/care about these blind bag wonders so let me fill you in. These figures are about 2 inches in scale, made of a some of that good ol' vinyl, and have swappable limbs. So far, this line's been really confusing; the first Mix of figures that were released were mainly under the batman unlimited title card with some BvS minis thrown in. The lineup is as follows:

Which is all well and good. (and I've managed to find all of these, sometimes discounted at my local gamestop which will add to more confusion later) The next Mix of figures brought out a tiny bit of confusion as they packed in series 1 of the BvS figures along side series 2 of the BvS figures. They are as follows:

Lastly, and most confusingly, we go to the current Mix that incorporates yet again, series 1 and series 2 but with a random new figure

These listings are all lifted and modified from BBTS.

Part 2: Confusion
Now that you're either all caught up or just skipped to this part, I've got a few questions:

1. You know how I said I got some mighty minis from game stop? The box I looked through only had the Batman Unlimited figures in it, no BvS series 1 figures at all. What box did I pick from? Is there no listing of that box on BBTS? Where did all my money go?

2. I see listings for a kryptonite superman, x-ray batman, and metallic bracelet wonder woman but I've never come across them! Are these 3 referring to the gold superman, silver batman, and bronze wonder woman? Because that's all that I can figure.

3. What the heck is up with "series 3 black suit batman"? He's listed as series 3 on bbts but on the box he's listed as series 2. This confusion lead me to believe that Mix 2 was on the shelves when in actuality Mix 3 is now on the shelves.

4. Who's idea was it to put wonder woman in Mix 2 but not in Mix 3? Why is the only available wonder woman mighty mini a chase variant? Am I looking into this too much? Am I butthurt over nothing?

5. What happened to Mix 2? Was I not there for it when it was happening? did I just miss it? Where am I supposed to find wonder woman? marked up in the after market? no sir!

6. What the heck is this?

like, I'm legitimately confused! not only does this set here have new characters we haven't seen before, it has VILLAINS! And please oh please, just tell me what those bikes are and where to get them! What series is this? does it come in a mix? Why do I only find images for these on back waters sights or foreign sites?

7. Guys c'mon... what's this now?

Was there a Batman Unlimited Series 2 that I completely missed? What's the Black and gold batman that's on there? where is that? was series 2 Batman Unlimited ever really a thing? this post was from the beginning of this year!!

In short, I don't understand this toyline and I need some help so if anyone out there has been collecting / following this line please let me know. Also if you need codes (which are found on the back at the bottom left corner of every bag) I only know the Identifying Letter at the end of each string of codes:

B = Batman Beyond
E = Robin
F = Green Arrow
G = Flash
H = Cyborg

BvS S1
I = Superman
J = Armored Batman
K = Gold Superman
N = Kryptonian Superman

P = Batman
Q = Wonder Woman
R = Aqua Man

T = Silver Batman
U = Bronze Wonder Woman
V = Black Suit Batman

So here's what i know. (which granted isn't much but hopefully it helps)

There's 3 separate lines here.

Bat Man Unlimited
Bat Man v Super Man
WWE

Depending on where you're located there are different mixes available.
Up here in Canada we're expecting Mix 2 within the next month or so.

For BvS, mix 1, they combined the tray/dump bin (whatever you want to call it) with Bat Man Unlimited.

Bat Man Unlimited Mix 1 only has Bat Man Unlimited figs.

Here's where it gets confusing. In some regions, Mix 2 was mixed up with mix 1. LIke up here with WWE, they combined the first 2 mixes into 1. Which is really annoying as I can't get the only one I wanted (Bret Hart) as I can't find him anywhere.

So even though the tray may say Mix 3 or mix 2, the content is more than likely all mixed.

6 & 7. Haven't seen those yet but it makes sense that they'd do vehicles/playsets. They have playsets in the WWE mighty mini line. So i wouldn't be surprised to see playsets for DC as well.

As for the names of the figures i have no idea what the official names are. I have multiples of the mix for BvS (minus the gold superman).
Kryptonian Superman is the all black superman deco. Kryptonian Batman is the armored batman in all black with green highlights.

No idea on series 2 yet as i haven't seen them yet.

I didn't know the distribution for these were so wonky, I suspect that my area only got mix 1 and mix 3. On that subject, I'd like to clear things up about the difference between mixes and series:

BvS Mix 1 is a combination of all of series 1 of BvS and (maybe) all of Series 1 of Batman Unlimited

BvS Mix 2 is a combination of all of series 1 of BvS and all of Series 2 of Bvs

BvS Mix 3 is a combination of all of series 1 of BvS, Parts of Series 2 (missing regular wonder woman), and a new "black suit batman" which is listed as series 3 on BBTS

Again, I think my area only got mix 1&3 because I haven't seen a regular wonder woman in my mixes but I do have the "black suit batman"

The series 1 & series 2 pamphlets given out in the blind bag figures of Mix 3 say that gold superman and kryptonian superman are series 1 and that this new "kryptonite superman" is in series 2. There have been no reports of a "kryptonite superman" in series 2 that I can tell but when I look at BBTS, the listing says kryptonite & kryptonian are both in series 1 and not in series 2 like the pamphlet says. On top of that "gold superman" is not officially listed at all in the Mix 3 but I got a "gold superman" which leads me to believe kryptonite superman has to be gold superman and then they relisted the "kryptonite superman" on the pamphlet and put the picture of kryptonian superman on there.

not sure if that made any sense but this is info I've been gathering the past week or so, I kinda just needed to dump the info :P

Also, if you get the hotwheels superman pack with the Metropolis PD Charger you will get a Supes with skins colors hands unlike the others that were blue.

Yeah I forgot to mention those. I got the superman pack and the batman pack. The paint app that the superman in the hotweels pack didn't have a painted belt buckle so I put his arms on my blind bag superman. The batman however is a really washed out version of the armored batman except with an all black cape; I head cannon it as an arctic batman.

I don't have extras but I'll let you know if I can hunt another down. I need an extra on top of the one I have cuz I wanna mix that with a robin to make a damian wayne robin :P

I guess we'll start off easy. I don't have any paints on hand to test these customs out yet so I'll show the closest approximation I can

Reverse Flash


Recipe:
Flash
yellow paint

Wet Suit Batman


Recipe:
Kryptonite batman head
black batman body
no cape
no paint needed

Superboy


Recipe:
Kryptonian superman chest and arms
superman legs
no cape
black paint over the grey cape bits
red paint for new symbol... or find a good waterslide decal

Red Robin


Recipe:
Flash Head with clipped wings
Flash arms (just to differentiate)
robin body and legs
any black cape
black paint on head and armor on arms
yellow paint for symbol or decals

Extra Notes:
There's a photo that I mentioned in my first post about how there was a mysterious wave of figures for batman unlimited that I'd never seen and there was a red robin in the wave, if you want to make an accurate one, don't put the flash's arms there, I only did because it's kinda different

Arsenal (young justice inspired-ish)


Recipe:
green arrow legs
Cyborg Arms
robin everything else
red paint for the legs and mask
black paint where you see fit
add extra orange for a design like the green arrow's figure and on hair

Robin (Damian Wayne)


Recipe:
Kryptonite batman arms and legs
Robin torso, head, and cape

Nightwing


Recipe:
Robin head
Batman Beyond everything else
Black paint over the whole body and limbs
blue/red (I prefer blue) to make it look like a proper Nightwing, keep the paint to the upper chest armor and maybe some trim on the bladed portions

Extra Notes:
1. if you squint real hard, this makes a passable red nightwing
2. The same picture of the mysterious wave had a nightwing used a repainted body of robin instead of batman beyond

The blind bagged figures don't really interest me, but I'm kinda tempted to get the ones that come packed in with a car. Though I find it odd that the Metropolis police car that comes with Superman doesn't have any kind of light bar on it, but does have a sun roof for some reason.

I began to wonder that myself as well! I know for a fact it exists since I found a few on ebay for some ridiculous prices. I think what may have happened was that a lot of stores just skipped mix 2 (the only mix with regular wonder woman) and only got mix 1 then mix 3. I don't know that these things are flying off the shelves, a few targets I went to had a bunch of ripped open figures strewn about while walmarts still had a lot left over. I really hope in the future, if we do get another mix that it'll come with a regular wonder woman. I don't know why the only mix out only has the stupid bronze chase figure that no one wants.

While it's ultimately up to you, I'd say pick it up. it's a pretty nice gateway into the mighty minis and if you don't end up liking it, then you have a few nifty vehicles and the title heroes at a price that doesn't break the bank. the light bar thing does bother me though. >.>

Oh, trust me, there will be no gateway into this line for me. No offence to those who collect them, but I can't justify paying five bucks for something that looks like it should be in one of those plastic ball things you get out of a gumball style machine for fifty cents (are those still a thing?).

Anyways, the missing light bar is enough to make me pass on the Superman set, so I might just get the Batman one.
