As for Classified, I admit my newfound affection is partially nostalgia. I was a huge ARAH collector from '82 through '87. Toys and comics. Hasbro's recent offerings have really struck a good balance between "homage" and "modern" in my opinion. Also, I just think they're well-designed action figures. |

^ Oh, you missed out on all the cool vipers then... Hydro, Alley, Night, Frag, Heat... IIRC all those came out after '87.
And I just found a fresh case of the Storm Shadow wave at my nearest Walmart... this Walmart had a bazillion Flints, Jayes and CCs that actually sold through, but they still skipped the Alley Viper wave. I bought one SS and both Officers... I really wanted Spirit too, but didn't have enough cash. |

So has anyone else had issues with the new Cobra trooper's neck joint? I can't seem to get it unstuck no matter how much I try to bend it. Other than that, he's great and he does look really cool when you can use his ab crunch. However, right now I still think I prefer the other one since the neck joint works. The guns are awesome and I love that you can put his scope and magazine in the back of his belt.
Storm Shadow rocks too, but why is the piece to place the arrow in on the wrong side? He holds the bow with his left hand, right? The only way to place the arrow in the slow is to have him hold it upside down or have the bow tilted. That and the horrible looking hood aside, he's freaking awesome. Just saw that the Hiss has surpased 14K. Have they unveiled Tier 4 yet?

Just saw that the Hiss has surpased 14K. Have they unveiled Tier 4 yet? I've got less than 2 hours to decide if I want one more for that extra figure. Not yet, Hasbro pulse put this up on Instagram earlier: "Kudos to all you fanatical followers of the Cobra World Order. You've come sssslithering out of your caves to prove your loyalty to me, Cobra Commander! But I'm afraid it's jusssst not quite enough yet. While you've been ssssinging my praises and assiduoussssly backing my G.I. Joe Classified H.I.S.S. #HasLab, there are far too many sssslackers out there! They were wasting a long weekend with fesssstive celebrations and sssstuffing their faces with their barbecue and hot dogs INSTEAD OF BACKING MY H.I.S.S. CAMPAIGN! What's wrong with them?! Well, I've been using this time to plan a little celebration of my own - the COMPLETE and UTTER desssstruction of G.I. Joe! There's just one Classified Upgrade left, and I've saved the besssst for lasssst! But I think I'll keep you in susssspense for just a little while longer. Soon enough, I'll reveal what reaching 16,000 backers will add to the campaign. But, until then, try convincing those other fools to join our crusade and KEEP FUNDING MY H.I.S.S. HASLAB!" |

Hmmm, I hope it's something good then. Maybe a smaller vehicle to attach to the back of the tank.

I'm not trying to get my hopes up, but a classic styled Cobra Commander would be my biggest want. Either way, I hope it's announced sooner rather than later- I hate susssspense.

It seems a few people are talking that way and I hope not, but I also think people are going to hype themselves up too much.

Tiger Force Duke went up for preorder on Pulse. I would assume it's up on Target as well.

Do you mean the Cobra Officer? If so, then yes. The bottom of the actual neck piece has a FLAT bottom (Yes. Flat) that unfortunately renders it stuck in a perma-jut position. I popped mine off and rounded to bottom using a Dremel. It helps a little. But it's still too short because Hasbro elected to use a shorter neck piece than the longer neck used with CI Trooper/Infantry.

I suspect I am in the minority but I find this final stretch goal to be somewhat underwhelming.

Not me. It's exactly what I wanted, and the fact that it's the MM logo should keep those that wanted to see the OG look at mass retail happy because the tooling now exists. Easily my favorite tier so far, I've wanted to replace the ugly old buck since I got into this line.

^ Yup! I'm over-the-moon for this goal. I've been hoping for a stirrup-pants CC since I started the line. Also, I'm more than a little embarrassed that just few days ago I was certain no more figures would be added to the campaign.

Just saw that the Hiss has surpased 14K. Have they unveiled Tier 4 yet? HOWEVER!!! Despite 8 seasons of Arrow, 1 season of Hawkeye, several MCU films with Hawkeye, 4 Hunger Games films, and archery being a sport at the summer Olympics for several years, the good folks at Hasbro gave Storm Shadow a quiver for a left handed person. smh. The arrows are supposed to come up over the shoulder of your dominant hand. Since Storm Shadow's quiver is designed to have the arrows come up over his left shoulder, that means it doesn't match his bow. The clip that holds the arrow seems to be strong enough to hold the arrow in place so you could use it as a left handed bow. The arrow would just be on the wrong side of the bow. But since the draw string is plastic and the arrow a little too short, it's not like he can really do great shooting poses. |

So that's tier 4? I have to say I'm quite underwhelmed by this. I seriously thought it was going to be something cool like a vehicle to attach to the tank or something. Still, if they're going to pull something like this it should include both the face mask and the hood since they can't do the hood in stores. I guess I'll have to see what the final product looks like, but right now I'm not feeling him. Quote:
Not sure what you've been doing but this is the correct way to set up the bow and arrow. Right handed people hold the bow in their left hand and have the arrow on the left/palm side of the bow. This bow is set up to hold the arrow on the left side, making it a bow for a right handed person.

Stuff like a smaller vehicle to pull would have been cool, but really now that this has been so successful, Hasbro should take the opportunity to try pushing for something like that at retail. |

Thing of it is this was somewhat expected, as the first tiers pretty much filled out the tank with everything you might want and having CC himself will complete the classic HISS box art.

I am all in on this classic Cobra Commander…Please, get the baby-blue/fluorescent paint correct, Hasbro…The reason I’m in on this figure is because it’s been tough to find a Cobra Commander in baby blue in the wild, plus it seem like it is going to be a complete new mold for him…Yesssss….Lol
