I am literally over a thousand miles from the nearest Ollie's. However if someone finds a reasonably priced Cover Girl or 2 I them for some customs

They can be gotten for even cheaper. Some stores, like the one closest to me, have them priced incorrectly. Notice the "Their Price" designation only reads $7.99

I live 10 miles from an Ollies, but I never find anything either. And that's not from a lack of trying, I hit that Ollies sometimes twice a week. Either I lost my toy-hunting mojo, or someone keeps buying up all the good stuff.

I just did a check to see where the nearest one to me is. Shockingly, it's only 4 hours. Not that I would go there, but I just assumed it would be way more than that.

I had a little fun with Scrap Iron. I gotta say I do like the cardboard trays with the character art on them. I wish that Hasbro kept those and only brought back the windows because they are cool to look at.

I'd bet the latter. Having been to Ollies when they had Star Wars TVC in the past and only finding like SOLO Lando leftovers, or Reys that they couldn't give away.
5 Below and (I guess) Ross were hot spots for resellers to hit for years. Now Five Below doesn't get jack, it seems. I've never lived near a Ross.

I got some emails from Amazon telling me that Buzzer, Ripper, Helix, and Shockwave are about to ship. Hopefully they won't have super loose torsos like Firefly.

Oh, Ripper arrived today from Amazon. He glasses are annoying as hell because I can't figure out how to attach the left side to his head. The right goes over the ear, but no idea where the left attaches to.

It should attach to the exact same spot. But his glasses are missing the entire back half of temple/earpiece.

That's weird, mine doesn't have that problem. The glasses just clip over the ears. But I also got the Indiana Jones Henry Jones figure, and his glasses will not stay on if you remove his hat. So Ripper's glasses are better than Sean Connery's.

Shockwave is cool, but i don't like that his shield can only go in his right hand. It looks weird to me that way. They should have made it able to be flipped around.

I think the shield attachment system is crappy too. The shield swivel on the Alley Viper works fantastic. They should have just reused that system.

I don't know why those were such a big selling point. My Helix is supposed to be delivered next week and the mantis blades are probably going in the spare parts bin

I get the impression of them that they will fit fine at first then the grip will loosen and they will swing down when she is wearing them. The joints in the arms on mine were really tight, but not so tight that I felt like I was going to break them the first time I moved them. I would of liked another hair option like they have done with some of the other characters that didn't have a lock falling in front of her face. But its a good update of the 2009 figure, and with this, the upcoming Shadow Tracker, and the Crimson Alley Viper repaint I hope they will continue to pull designs from the Pursuit of Cobra era..
