No theres goings on that the classified stuff is no longer being stocked and that targets not carrying them anymore. True or not im not sure but it wouldnt surprise me if it were true.

Maybe they just sold out of everything they had... I only ever saw Red Hulk twice and then that was it. It almost feels like you have a 6 week window to find the popular target exclusives before they just completely sell out and they move on to the next exclusive. The unpopular exclusives seem to last forever though.

EDIT: The only Joes I ever saw at Target were Duke, Scarlet and both Roadblocks and I have been hunting Target a lot for the past month and a half trying to find all of the Strong Guy wave.

I'm still not sure why so many people acted like the Target exclusive version would be the ONLY Cobra trooper ever released in the line, Hasbro isn't anywhere near that cruel.

Probably a combination of short term memory with previous Joe lines and the excitement of finally getting a 6" line, as well as FOMO and other general cases of paranoia from not being able to find the figure right away when others are posting pictures of having a dozen or more online.

Hasbro doesn't need Target to carry GI Joe for the line to do well. Amazon, BBTS, Dorkside, Ent Earth and maybe Wallie World could more than handle it.

Went to 2 WalMarts today and both had removed the G.I. Joe pegs from the set and the Roadblocks that had been collecting dust were gone. I doubt they finally sold. I asked a bloke at the one that is generally better at stocking stuff, he checked his device and said it only showed 2 cancelled deliveries and none showed as incoming. Probably why I have yet to see the Cobra Commander wave. In any case, he said they pulled the tags and replaced them because they don't want empty pegs this time of year. Which is funny, since the toy aisle is always 90% bare. He did offer to go in the back and get me a Roadblock, though. How thoughtful.

Feeling pretty confident that we'll see a repainted classic Scarlett release somewhere down the line, I've already started re-purposing the original. For anyone interested, the Marvel Legends Yelena Belova head fits perfectly and actually matches the pale skin tone of Scarlett.

My local grocery store surprised me and upgraded their toy aisle so they had in wave 1 of the Classified line minus a Snake Eyes, this is actually the first time I've seen all of wave 1. I picked up the remaining SE and Destro, I'll probably wait until my birthday at the end of the month to open them. Even just having them in box though man Snake Eyes' guns are pretty terrible, or at least the pistol is. The holes are really confusing. I know this line is deliberately going for the non-real effect with the guns but only Snake Eyes' guns have been hole-punched.

The guns have the holes like that so you can peg them on his backpack. But yeah, definitely not a good look.

It’s almost a guarantee that Pulse will carry them as a trooper builder eventually. It seems like a no-brainer, and would be like printing money. They probably just need to get past the boneheaded decision to make them an exclusive after a few more months.
