It's the same flaw with the whole line! It's like when they made the length of the backpack pegs, they forgot to factor in the vest or straps. It's especially bad on Beach Head.

To be fair, I've never been a fan of the backpacks on my Joes ever. I always found it weird that dudes who are supposed to be running around, infiltrating Cobra bases would be carrying clunky, heavy ass bags on their backs that would make them stumble and trip around in the middle of battle.

However, I was hoping that given they were bigger, the bags would stay put better. Clearly that is not the case, so I'll just have to get a new accessory box for GI Joe to store them in, assuming I do decide to make the plunge. Destro and CC will make or break that decision, assuming I can ever find them.

If I do go all in, I will have to be smart about this line and not go overboard like I did with the anniversary line from 10 years ago. No more getting every version of every character and not every character. I'll definitely pick up Cover Girl, Flint, Lady Jaye, Stalker, Spirit, General Hawk, a version of Scarlett (not sure if I want the current version though), Tomax, Xomat, Zartan, and a few other critical character. The only ones I may buy more than one version of is Storm Shadow as I want both his original Cobra outfit and then his outfit from when he joined the Joes (which I just learned is an Amazon exclusive). Though, that does not mean I won't upgrade characters if a better version comes out. Like if they were to do figures in either their Marvel comics costumes or Resolute designs, those versions will instantly become their default look on my shelves.

I do know I will not be buying the Red Ninjas for sure as I do not like the designs of the new ones.

That's probably why Duke was barely in the Marvel comics run, he was always in a prison when everything was going on.

I ordered Storm Shadow and CC from Amazon. It says they will arrive sometime between Oct 8th and the 25th, but they could probably wait until Thanksgiving and I still wouldn't see them in stores. Amazon wanted $35 for Destro though, which is ridiculous.

I'd like to second that hope. I know it can be frustrating for people to not get a figure they're hunting for but it seems too often that when someone else beats them to it the immediate thought is that only a scalper could have been so fast.

Well, a third party seller wants that ridiculous price for it and it's just being fulfilled by Amazon. As a vendor themselves Amazon never price gouges these items, no different than Walmart or Target they just list them at the msrp and the hotly desired ones sell out fast.

Yes, there is no listing for Destro that says Amazon is the actual seller. This means that he just plain sold out from them directly, even if he was at the pre-order stage.
