Took some pictures while playing around with settings on my camera and I'm not sure why some pictures came out darker than others despite having lamps. I'm trying to get my pictures to come our clearer, especially in group shots, but all it seems like I'm doing is making them look like they have less light.

Hasbro's MO has always been "make it different enough so you'd buy it again", that's how they recoup the cost of casting the molds. This Target Exclusive Trooper does come with a good amount of accessories, so I'm willing to bet the general release trooper will have less accessories, and most likely different colors. This one will be different than others, for me, he'd be the Squad Leader.

Natural "red heads" really are orange in color, so I got no problem with her hair color either. Like you said, her outfit has always stood out among her peers, so no problem there either. (In case some of you who are younger didn't know. It was because of the extra paint applied to her on the very first series of Joes that in order to recoup the cost of her paints, they decided to leave one figure in the set unpainted - all black - so Snake Eyes was born).

You mean you found 3 Cobra Troopers AT RETAIL and passed them up?

Best case, if you had bought them you'd be the owner of some of the raddest figures ever made. Worst case, you could have flipped them and (at least) tripled your money towards the Sentinels.

Probably, yeah. But even if the re-release rumors ARE true, the Target version of the Cobra Trooper is literally the first Classified figure that I would say is PERFECT. If they re-release it with ANY changes, no matter how nice they may be, the figure will no longer be perfect. So, we'll see.

Honestly, I LOVE the Classified Scarlett figure. The outfit could be a tad toned down when it comes to the colors, but it's not a huge deal and overall, it works. But I adore the head sculpt, with the pale skin, the freckles, and (as you correctly pointed out) the orange hair, which is the color natural redheads actually have. Some people have complained that she looks too young, but what, do you want her looking 50? No thanks, the figure is great as-is.

They call them red heads because orange didn’t exist as a name for a color until the fruit made its way west from Asia. “Orange” was actually a geographic area in France.

The color we now associate with orange was actually considered a shade of red. Hence “Erik the Red”, “red heads” and “robin red breast”.

Once the brightly colored citrus became popular across Europe, it’s name became associated with that particular shade of red.

Man hasbro just refuses to learn from their mistakes. Again with making mainline characters and troop builders exclusives. I think i am done with this line as i am not gonna deal with the gigantic clusterfuck that is target exclusives.
