Dammit Hasbro, after the debacle with Cobra island being Target exclusive you decide to let it ride?! Firefly is one of the characters I was most looking forward to with this line and they have to ruin it by making him exclusive. I have a grain of hope that we might get a non-exclusive Firefly later but since he's not a troop builder or a really popular character, like Baroness, it's not seeming too likely.

Zartan looks good, at least he's not exclusive. I'm not wowed by most of his accessories. He has solid basics with the knife, pistol, and backpack but I'm not really feeling the snake head and monkey hand and I've always found his disguise heads odd since the rest of the figure is still dressed like Zartan. He disguises as a guy wearing Zartan's clothes.

I’ll be damned. I was able to get a Firelfy and Viper from Target. Then went to Pulse and got Zartan and a Trooper. After checkout, went back and got another Trooper and the exclusive Snake Eyes. Decided to pass on Ecto-1 until it’s officially confirmed whether it scales with the figures (and it unfortunately looks like it doesn’t).

Today was a good day.

I got the circle of death when preordering immediately after the site went live. Refreshed, entered info in again and Pulse informed me the Trooper was sold out.

Not gonna lie, I hope they cancel duplicate orders like yours. Limit 1 per customer my ass.

Hasbro has gone through the effort of preventing bots and putting up captchas. They should check if someone already ordered something and not allow more.

I whole-heartedly agree with you. I wish exclusives were limited to non-essential versions of characters, like pimp-daddy Destro, for example. Cool figure. But by no means is he a must-have.

I feel you. I was honestly quite surprised the order went through. What’s interesting is that when all was said and done, it was 5:08. So, Troopers were still showing up for me at that time.

Yeah,the original figure was done as a deluxe figure of sorts so was really hoping that would've been the case his time too. Also would've like to have gotten some version of the color change gimmick as well.

I’m kind of not liking Firefly so I might not go out of my way to try to get him. I’ll see if I can get a Cobra Viper in the store or just wait for the inevitable regular version with a different color blue and maybe less red on his chest.

No tax or limit on Cobra Troopers at Dorkside. Preordered 2 Zartans and 9 Cobra Troopers. Also preordered the Retro wave 2 at Walmart.

Remember though nothing has been shipped yet and no one actually has any of these figures, so even if I ordered 30 of a limit 1 figure today there's no saying those orders will actually go through and not be cancelled.

I strictly prefer the regal version because it has the brighter blue and gold scheme that looks more in-line with him being the leader. Even the official art for the character seen on their own website depicts the metal parts and trim being all gold and the suit is the brighter blue.
