I was looking at the characters in the Operation Blackout game and observed that Firefly's color scheme in the game doesn't exactly match up with the colors of the Target exclusive figure so hopefully that means we'll get a non-exclusive version later (like is happening with the Cobra trooper).

^ PDD Destro appears nowhere in the game right? I'm hoping they do more 25th inspired characters... if they do I'm jumping in. Characters like Baroness, Destro, Cobra Trooper and Zartan are close enough to their 25th versions though that if I ever see them I would probably buy them.

Not from what I've seen. Destro's alternate outfits are him in winter/cold gear and what looks like him dressed as an admiral or something similar (think Bison from Street Fighter). PDD would've been a cool treat to the fans for sure but I'm surprised neither of his other skins were based on his Iron Grenadier design.

These seem to be doing REALLY well. My local Walmart has an entire 4Ft section of gi Joe, and it’s been empty for 3 weeks except cobra hiss tanks. Other local Walmarts don’t even have pegs for these, so everyone seems to be swarming for them.

The elusive Target Red Hulk just became available again on Target.com, after it was taken down and "discontinued" since March, and it's not a tease, I was actually able to place an order. (now we'll see if it actually ships). So perhaps there's hope?!? Maybe like the Red Hulk, in 9 months the Cobra Island figures will be available again? Let's hope so.

It's possible. I can see Hasbro wanting to make more and I know some G.I.Joe people have said they know there's been more demand for these figures than what anyone thought there'd be, but of course new runs of figures take time.

Red Hulk came out just before Covid hit right? And back then any returns at Target had to be quarantined I think. Maybe they found a bunch of Red Hulks sitting in a Target warehouse somewhere.

Possibly, or just like with the grey Black Widow at Wal-Mart a bunch of them were just held back for reasons.

^ Oh that's right... Grey Widow is showing up again at a bunch of Walmarts too... so weird.

Also, my Walmart got in a fresh case of Wave 1 I think... the box said do not open until June 2020, so I am assuming it is a wave 1 case.

Could be product that was stuck at the ports or warehouses. In certain states, warehouses have to follow new state Covid-19 restrictions which are slowing products flowing to stores. I work with several non-toy manufacturers and their production here has been cut back to 50-60% but orders have gone up 100to 500%. They can't catch up even with 3 shifts.
