It's interesting Hasbro Pulse sold out all their Target exclusives, but they're still available to order from Target.com. Which means, either Target's getting a lot more stocks in, or they'll just cancel peoples' orders in the future when they realized they don't have nearly enough to fill all the orders.

It depends on what your point of exciting is. I mean, I should be excited, but I'm not ready for figures with a 2023 release date to be out before the figures that went up for preorder before them.

I'm glad you liked that shot because I've been planning that one since I acquired my first BAT a while ago. I had this idea of doing a picture of him holding up someone and then setting them on fire and immediately knew the Human Torch figure would be perfect to represent the dude on fire.

They explained that during the livestream in which he was revealed. I disremember the specifics (which tribes and all), but it had to do with getting away from stereotypes. I believe that the cloth traditionally belongs to one tribe, whereas Spirit himself is a member of another- it was something to that effect, anyway, the whole "they all look the same" thing. They also no longer refer to him as a tracker, another ages-old Native American stereotype.

Personally, I typically don't like the idea of these sorts of changes, as I feel they usually fuel bigotry rather than fix it, and to be sure, there was a LOT of bitching over on the 'tank about it... but in this rare instance, I agree with the update. Besides, I'll take a sniper rifle over an arrow-launcher thingy any day I'm super excited that my own along with the rest of the wave should be here in the next week.

^ My gawd... ARAH Joes were like 100% stereotypes... no point in running away from it now. I'm with team bitch and complain about it. IMO you either pay homage to your 80s roots correctly or you completely redesign Spirit for modern times... Hasbro trying to have it both ways irks me.

I get it and don't hold your feelings on the matter against you, but I do disagree.
