Are you talking about the redhair paint on his forearms? Cause I at first thought it was something weird with the plastic, but after looking at it closer under a camera and some bright lights I realized that was what that discolorization was on my figure.

You were right. The plastic used for Outback's skintone DOES have a pinkish/redish tint. he's a proper Irishman.

So I just found out a crap ton of Joes went up for preorder whenever it was. The shots Hasbro has done for Torpedo, Rock n Roll, Bazooka, Snowjob, Copperhead, and female troopers, etc, look absolutely amazing. They're so good I kind of want to buy those characters. The hooded head of Snowjob actually looks like Kurt Russel from The Thing to me. And the face of Scrap Iron is damn freaking while I want his exposion effects. However, what the hell is up with the packaging? Why did they cut the artwork down for show a shot of the figure? The figure's picture should be on the backside with the artwork on the front. There was no need to change it yet again.

Anyway, does anyone have any Amazon links for these guys?

Got Sergeant Slaughter & Heavy Artillery Roadblock from Brute Squad Entertainment.






Where do folks stand on having one Roadblock serve as Heavy Duty and the other be just Roadblock? I thought about that given that they are cousins and in the IDW Hasbroverse comics, the two characters have the same character design. Is that fine or should I just wait for Hasbro to make a Heavy Duty figure?

Yesterday I was able to get in a preorder for the Trouble Bubble and Artic B.A.T., I'm skipping the TF Dusty and PP Crimson Guard. But the announcement that there's another Haslab coming has me worried. I am hoping we'd have the Hisstank in hand before they announced another expensive vehicle set. Hoping for the VAMP this time.

Hints have made it believable the Haslab is going to be the Dragonfly. As for timing, this is normal. The shipping time for the previous Haslab has nothing to do with the new one going up.

I'm not sure how pricey it is going to be, but since I was not rehired for next school year, I'm not sure I can participate this time. I might be able to fudge one, but it really depends on how much it costs.

Still waiting for Hawk, Tunnel Rat, Ripper, Torch, and Buzzer to be shown off since those are the last of my must have list (well, Wild Bill too, but if the Dragonfly is true, he will come with that).

I haven't bothered to pick up Outback nor Falcon since I can't justify the new price tag for them. I've also passed on every preorder that has come out sans Shipwreck.

The Sentinels didn't ship until Nov 2021, Galactus went up July of that year.

Hasbro's posted digital renders of a Crimson Viper repaint and a new figure: OG13 Infantry Trooper Grunt. The former is everything that's come before but now all-over red. The latter is a great example of the oddly hit-and-miss character of this line, with a straightforward scaling up of the original figure's BDU-trousers-and-commando-sweater outfit (right down to the green front panels on his boots), some fairly sensible "modernization" in the form of the plate carrier taking the place of the original's ALICE harness, and some really stupid/naff bits. After skipping Snake Eyes, Stalker, Breaker and Rock 'n Roll, the goddamned holo-communicator that someone on the design team must really have a hard-on for makes an unwelcome reappearance, and the seeming practicality of the plate carrier is somewhat spoiled by the fact that it appears to be loaded with nothing but pistol mags. Flint also gets a Steel Brigade Corps helmet and Snowjob's XMLR-3A laser rifle, so Sunbow kids can play "Greenshirts" with him, a scaled-up version of his original backpack, a knife and a Browning pistol.

I really want to love this figure whole-heartedly, but so many little design choices just drive me crazy. I mean, why has everything about his design been modernized to some extent, except for his backpack, which, if anything, looks even more old-fashioned than the original, with some very clearly-defined leather belt-style straps and buckles holding it closed where the original design was much more vague. Why does he not have any rifle-sized mag pouches? Why didn't they included a version of the classic OG13 helmet, if they were going to go so hard retro with the backpack? Why does that stupid communication device keep randomly popping up on some Joes but not on others? Is someone getting paid royalties every time it's used? Arggggggh...

Dragonfly with Wild Bill is live. $275, Night Force Rip Cord is the first incentive figure. I kind of wish they would drop the electronics cause it would bring the price down a bit and it seems a bit unnecessary.

I got Zartan and Storm Shadow from Pulse. I don't think Snake Eyes and Crimson Guard are out just yet. I also got a second Storm Shadow at Walmart on clearance for $11.97. They left the 30 retro Lady Jayes and Baronesses on the pegs at full price and closed out the new wave. Dolts.

Most peoples’ complaints are about the size, I still have my 1/6 Little Bird! Gotta hang it though.
