Okay, am I blind? I don't see much difference in them. And wasn't the point of these to be for collectors that missed out on figs the first time around? I'm sure there would be much more demand for these if they didn't have those damn revision waves.

At least when Star Wars pulls this crap we get improved articulation and sculpt for the higher price point. Not just a new paint app.

Yeah, I don't see much of a difference either. At least not enough to make me want to pick up all of them. I may pick up the B.A.T. and a chromed Viper, but that would be it.

Even with their improved articulation, the articulation of Star Wars figures is inferior to 25th/modern era joe articulation. The presentation of these in my opinion is also superior to the VOTC packaging. These remind me more of MOTU Classics packaging.

That is pretty bad man, I was surprised to see such an obvious mistake like that.

V2 Snake Eyes just needs a backpack w/sword holder or sheath attached. I had a feeling we were going to see the wave 1 head and hands and boots, and I was right. These figures tend to have the paint apps that everyone wanted, but were left off, such as the painted "I Ching" symbols on Storm Shadow's swords.

I also had a feeling that the HOH Storm Shadow was going to be the repaint of the version from the 5 pack with the same accessories. This one is dead on cartoon accurate. These figures are good for those of you who wanted some of the figures from the 5 pack without having to buy the whole 5 pack.

Despite that, I'm still set on buying both 5 packs, and perhaps none of the HOH figures. I can overlook the different paint apps in the 5 packs, they are close enough for me.

Yeah, both SE are holding it that way..

I'm still deciding which ones I will buy. SE w/Timber is a must, I like the others, but I don't really need all of them.

I will say, that packaging is fantastic! I love it!

Love the firefly! Flint and SS are nice. That is a great beach-head, but no sure bout them muddy boots. There are a few other great figs worth buying, but I have to ask myself "Fred? the fred that is a part of one of the greatest peg warming 2-packs in toy history??? Someone hasn't yet been tortured by his look-alike mug while searching for a new comic pack?

I sure understand most of the other choices (and applaud the lack of a Duke or CC repaint) but another opportunity for a CG sure is questionable. Other than giving him the single carded accessories, can anyone help me see why he was produced?

I figure that this CG was picked on account of having an extra accessory by way of a helmet, simply more for your money. Though honestly, I prefer the regular Crimson Guard figures, as the helmet does not fit well on the Fred heads.

if you have spare parts or extra figs of the same characters listed in this hoh series, you might just wna try to do some kitbashes, you might have a better one than hasbro can do.

i thought about it yesterday and might as well do it if time permits..hehe..

my hopes are not that high for this line to hit our country,we might have some of these but with skyrocketing prices though..

if ever id be able to grab one of these figs, ill keep them moc,the packaging is pretty cool.

I think I may end up picking up Zartan. Another B.A.T. and CG would be cool, too

I think these must be old promo pictures because I just noticed that Snake-Eyes is the same mold as the DVD version which used the same torso as the first one. But the new 5 pack version I just got has an all new torso and lower left arm and hand.

Also Flint is the same old torso but again, the 5 pack version doesn't have the Duke medal on the torso (And it has an all new head) but the same Duke legs

As it is, I just got basically the same Flint, Snake-Eyes, Viper, Storm Shadow and Zartan as these but for $6 each and I got superior versions of charcters I wanted like Baroness, Shippy and Lady Jaye. It's probably a good thing they're making this line an etailer exclusive

In a way, it's like having two options. You have the cheaper option of getting some of these figures with the exact same molds in the new 5 packs, or you can just buy the HOH which is the more expensive option with more direct RAH updates, accurate colors and more. I'm going the 5 pack route, I actually prefer the 5 pack Storm Shadow over HOH Storm Shadow, even if it is inaccurate, hell it just looks better to me!
