They will all be rare as they are being recalled [assuming you are tlaking about the new movie line].

Any credence to my theory that this Joe movie got pushed back because of the massive massive success of The Avengers???

Ya know the whole "oh man we can't fuck w that so let's wait till next year."

possibly. think that might have been a contributing factor.

anyone know the SKU code for the single carded figures? thinking of calling some stores to see how many they have if at all.

They're never going to admit to that, but that definitely contributed to it. It's a few things:

-Battleship tanked
-Avengers killed
-The box office isn't lacking good product with Batman and Spider-man due out.
- The new GI Joe movie may be great but the last movie wasn't received very well.

Bottom line, GI Joe wasn't going to be able to compete this summer. And maybe not any summer. They're releasing it at a time where action movies tend to not do well. (See Battle: Los Angeles)

Pick up Retaliation Red Ninja. So bad ass. Also picked up the Cobra Trooper but haven't cracked it open. Hopefully I find CC and SS before all this BS kicks in. Don't want to wait for those til next year.

A Target near here had a sign up in the toy aisle that said "Spiderman and GI Joe figures will be released tomorrow", which is 5/28.

I see these at every store I go to now. I have seen the Cobra Commander in the black suit a few times but I have seen him more often in the blue suit.
I really like the red ninja I bought but I have not opened it yet.

Does anyone else have an abundance of Retaliation figures in their area? I've noticed them at TRU and Wallys, not so much at Target. It just seems to me that these figures, and vehicles, are very close to peg warming after only one month of showing up. I know the movie hasn't hit and that might be keeping the casual kid from wanting anything from the line but it just doesn't look good to me. Thoughts?

The Joe Trooper and Red Ninja are the only ones from the line that I don't see that much. But I have seen both recently, last week.

Yay! This thread is coming back! Does anyone know if any of the Joe-con exclusives are going to hit HTS? Do they usually?

Man, I need to get my hands on some Ashiko Cycles still. T_T
Also never could find more zombies. I'm getting impatient about making a cyber Jinx already. The new retaliation cyber ninjas are too much of a tease. All they need to do is put lady jaye(retaliation), or Scarlet(renegades) head on the ROC Desert Ambush(impact armor) Scarlett's body. Add the wraith armor, reverse the gauntlets when they are on so it's small to elbow large to wrist instead of large to elbow small to wrist. Cut off the pony tails and give them a zombie helmet and Paris Pursuit Snake Eyes sword sheathe. Maybe use Black Widow legs if you want rocker ankles and leg swivel.

New GI Joe just keeps getting better though!
Battle Kata Roadblock looks freaking epic for the rock, like straight out of Fast 5 and Retaliation(THEY NEED TO MAKE THE Renegades COYOTE NOW with a black repaint!). Ninja Duel Snake Eyes is an interesting armored take on SE(maybe even easy to adapt into cycle armor Snake Eyes plus other customs like a robocop using sam flynn's head), finally a Bruce Willis action figure, and I'm hoping for better Kim Arashikage's down the line, but the first being a masked yellow helps expand the SE student base.

Sorry, been bottling up my GI Appreciation for awhile.
Since it's also my Movie Avengers shelf since the Joes act as part of "Shield" on my shelf I have very particular wants and excitements towards the line. xD Unique characters or badass troop builders are typically where I lean. Though this new trend of action stars likenesses is perfect too! Who wouldn't want a Bruce Willis action figure, or the Rock, or heck for that matter if they can get them, Vin Diesel, stalone, Will Smith, Angelina Jolie, or jet li. We already have Jackson.

That's what annoys me the most about the being pushed back though.
Avengers boosted my GI Joe interest since the Avengers toys had no shield equipment or soldiers. So I use GI Joe to bolster that with recognizability plus they are both that entire 'defense line you never knew existed' type government military.
