I wonder how compromised the articulation is due to the sword fighting gimmick. I really hope the 12"ers have double jointed elbows and knees.

I think I will reserve judgement until I see out of package pics.

I don't really like the 12 inchers. Looks like good packaging, though the thought of a GI Joe card with a friggin Wayans brother on it is just tripping me the hell out |

			1. I really like the packaging. 2. I look at the figs and see very little that says 'GI Joe' to me. When I look at the Viper, I think 'Sadaukar warrior' from Dune. 3. WTF is Scarlett's weapon thingy? 4. I'm not sure if I'll get every fig this movie brings us, but I'm pretty sure I'll get a goodly bit of them, and I'm absolutely certain I'll be re-imagining them to be wholly new characters. |

I'm not all that impressed with these figures myself... I only really care about Snake-Eyes.. And the repaints for existing figures may be cool enough for me to buy them, but the Shipwreck isn't cool at all in my opinion. |

The single figures they've shown so far are about exactly what I expected. It's why I hate the "Hollywood-ization" of just about any action property. All the characters look the same because the are sampled from the same color palette. Urban camo, black leather, black bodysuits and black padding. I know that the comic costumes wouldn't work realistically, but there has to be some kind of a middle ground.

There's no reason why a regular Viper outfit wouldn't work, altho I could see them running the whole palette darker. If anything, it's *way* more realistical than the Krull Warrior we're getting. /Not hatin' on it as a figure - I'll prolly get my traditional 3-set - but that MFer ain't a 'Viper' and never will be. |

Just about every green shirt/cobra solider/viper would work in the story.

My goodness, does Hasbro want *anyone* to know what they're actually still releasing toys this year?
