SMALLJOES.COM - GI JOE 3 3/4" Action Figures, Military Toys & Models, Shopping Store Hi folks! We're pleased to write and introduce a number of new features for our web site. We've rolled out an all-new design which we hope you'll enjoy. After being absent for over a year the search feature is back and now integrated directly with our own software to produce easily readable results. This is a great way to look up an item without digging for it in the menu categories. You can now log out of your account without closing your web browser. When you view a product at the site you can now see a listing of popular items purchased by other customers who also purchased that item. GI JOE: Pursuit of Cobra wave 3 figures are up for pre-order. We strongly recommend the complete set of four figures at the low price of $27.99. These figures are expected to ship early/mid December. GI JOE: Pursuit of Cobra |

Over the weekend, we gave you IDW Infestation Info From NYCC, and now that the convention has ended, more info has emerged. Some of the following has come as a surprise. Here's what Comic Book Resources had to say after attending the IDW & Hasbro panel:
First up was “G.I. Joe.” Schmidt began by noting that “G.I. Joe: Origins” would be coming to an end with issue #23 and that co-writer Christos Gage would be leaving “G.I. Joe: Cobra” after issue #13 (due to his recently announced Marvel exclusive contract). His co-writer on the title, Mike Costa, will become the sole writer of “G.I. Joe: Cobra” after Gage's departure. “G.I. Joe” #27 by Chuck Dixon will wrap up the storylines from what IDW has dubbed “Season One” and then relaunch as “Season Two” in April 2011 with “G.I. Joe” #0. “This is the book,” said Schmidt. “It is the only G.I. Joe book from the IDW rebooted G.I. Joe continuity that we'll be publishing in April.” When Schmidt stated that the first story line would be called “Cobra Civl War,” ” Christos Gage chimed in to ask, “Is the premise that Serpentor and Cobra Commander argue over a Cobra registration act?” So what do you think of the direction that IDW is taking with their GI Joe comics? |

For GI Joe Renegades fans who can't wait any longer, it looks like may actually be premiering earlier than Thanksgiving. According to an interview with Greg Johnson(writer on GI Joe Renegades) by 411mania.com, Renegades will premiere on November 10th:
Greg Johnson: I've been over at Hasbro writing for GI Joe: Renegades, and having a blast. It debuts next month on the 10th.* *The article was posted today and the interview was conducted recently. We'll keep you posted. One way or another, it definitely seems like Renegades will show up on The HUB next month. |

For GI Joe Renegades fans who have been constantly kept on their toes with the ever-changing air dates for Renegades, we have a new update for you! TV Tango has posted the TV listings for Black Friday, November 26th. According to the listings, Transformers PRIME will air from 4-4:30PM, meanwhile, GI Joe Renegades will air an hour later from 5-5:30PM. The episode is titled The Descent(part 1 of 2).
Will this be a more concrete date compared to previous listings? With GI Joe Renegades On Video On Demand In December and previous air times slated for sometime in Thanksgiving and November, a Black Friday air date seems like a realistic estimate. We'll keep you updated, meanwhile, cross your fingers this date and time sticks! |

Yes folks the answers for the latest Hasbro 2010 GI Joe Q&A are finally in! Do you want to Pursuit Cobra longer than 4 waves? How about the Shadow Guard, what secrets lurked in its shadow? Find the answers to these questions and more by hitting the title bar!
Yes folks the answers for the latest Hasbro 2010 GI Joe Q&A are finally in! Do you want to Pursuit Cobra longer than 4 waves? How about the Shadow Guard, what secrets lurked in its shadow? 1) Will there be any way of telling from the box which color HISS Tank V5 you are getting once the running change in color(black) starts to happen, and when will it hit retail? A) The Black HISS will be packed in the same package as the previous version. This is what is known as a "running change:" a change that was made in reaction to fan-feedback which demanded an "all-black" version. We're sorry, but packaging will not reflect which versions are black and which are Burgundy. 2) The Shadow Guard from Pursuit Of Cobra was shown on a banner at JoeCon 2010 but the figure itself is nowhere to be seen. We take it, it was unfortunately canceled or maybe even hiding in the shadows for a later release. In any case, was it merely a repaint of the 25th Anniversary Crimson Guard figure with the same weapons, or did it have any new parts? A) The Shadow Guard was originally planned as an exclusive. He was a redeco of the original Crimson Guard, but contained some weapons not previously packed with the Crimson Guard. 3) As we all know from the Pursuit Of Cobra line, plans change. Though Pursuit Of Cobra was meant as a filler line between the Rise of Cobra movie and the Renegades cartoon, has any thought been given to extending Pursuit Of Cobra beyond 4 waves? Or is the strategizing and marketing of this current line basically over and done with? A) After we started this line, we have been overwhelmed with the response. While we can not promise anything, there are many additional figures that we want to do and we are currently looking to see if we can fit a few more waves into this line. |
