I was shocked to see POP Vinyl Gargoyles figures at Target the other day. It got me thinking that I would buy a complete series of articulated 6 inch Gargoyles figures to scale with Marvel Legends / Star Wars Black Series, etc.

Any other interest in something like this? I hope that nostalgia for the series will kick in to the point where we get them but I'm not holding my breath.

I would love a new Gargoyles toyline as long as they were actually cartoon accurate in design this time. No more Elisa wearing some blue and black hang gliding outfit and Macbeth wearing a grey and turquoise tech suit with a hook thing on his arm.

My wallet shivers in fear just thinking about the possibilities, so naturally my answer is: Hell yeah.

Gargoyles was my favorite cartoon growing up, I loved this show so much. But I never had any figures, because when I actually went to toy shops and saw them on shelves - they looked nothing like the characters on screen and had these dumb gimmicks and vehicles that were never even in the cartoon.

Call me a strange and boring kid but I always wanted what actually was on screen. Good sculpts and plenty of articulation is all I need to this day.

So if a toy company can deliver that I will have to buy all of their offerings.

That is totally me too. This is one line I'd love to see in a Marvel Legends style.

Hmmmm, Houston, we have a problem...

I thought NECA had said there was going to be a hinge on the wings so they could fold a bit...

Not too thrilled about this, especially with how cheap the plastic for the wings feel. Everything else is pretty solid.

If they ever said that, it was before they showed off the first picture.
Even a 2nd pair of semi open wings would have been nice.

A gargoyle should be on top of the case anyway.

Dust is our friend. It's nature's gift to us to let us know where things are supposed to go.

Bronx is perfect

Look, I know the wing span probably sounded great in product development.
But for a team of Gargoyles, semi open or closed wings would have been preferred.

NECA better do an accessory set of closed wings- unless you're dedicating the top of a lot of shelves to these guys it's going to get crowded quick

Theyr eally should have went for the halfway opened style since that is how they were the majority of the time on the cartoon. Having them fully open is just too much.

Anyone got any info on the release of Brooklyn and Hudson? I’ve got them on pre order with BBTS, eta was October, now it’s changed to November. I’ve seen chatter of Hudson being out in the wild already, but nothing on Brooklyn. I’m not in any particular rush or anything, just wondered if anyone has heard anything.

Some people already had Hudson added to their BBTS POL, but nothing on my end.

Just a heads up that the Steel Clan Gargoyle figure is up for pre-order over on BBTS. This is absolutely one of my favourite lines out there

I finally pulled the trigger on Goliath and Bronx. They are on my pile of loot, ready to be shipped, right now. I plan to get all of the Line. The folded cape like wings of Goliath that come with Bronx are amazing. That is my favorite look of Goliath, so cool. I had to have it, that was what sold Neca Gargoyles line to me.
