Hello,

We recently acquired this toy tiger and thought that maybe it was Schoenhut from the Humpty Dumpty Circus, but it doesn't seem to match any of the pictures of the Schoenhut tigers that we can find online. Can anyone tell me anything about this tiger such as who made it and what time period it is from?

I believe this fine piece is a rare, ancient Egyptian: 'goddess' statue from the time of His Emperor The Pharoah: 'Tiger-Tim' if I'm not mistaken.

Note the intricate texture of the: 'catwood' which the Egyptians: 'grew' from the fur of their rarest pussys.

I could be wrong though...
