This is the monster who killed Harry and then you fight him on the roof of Heather's apartment building. Later in the church there are smaller non-boss versions.

Ah. I never finished SH3 so I guess I didn't get far enough to fight this guy. I should try and track those games down again. It's been way too long.

All things considered he occurs fairly early in the game. From memory the game is sequenced as: shopping mall -> split worm boss -> subway -> Hilltop center -> Missionary boss -> Silent Hill -> Brookhaven hospital -> Leonard boss -> amusement park -> Alessa/Cheryl boss -> church -> God final boss.

Haha! I still laugh when i think of this ending. If they ever do a movie based on this game they gotta do an ending like clue with this ending as one of the endings.

As someone who actually went to the trouble of getting this ending during one of my SH2 playthroughs, this is absolutely hilarious. No way it's even remotely worth $230, but it's still hilarious.

If it was half the size (seriously, it's way too big) and a third the price, I'd totally snap this up, however. We need more SH2 merch, and hopefully with the remake coming soon we'll get some.

I would love a poseble james and marie fig. And i hope the remake has an endi g where james and maria get together. Silent hill needs to give at least ONE ending thats good.

There already is an ending in Silent Hill 2 where James and Maria leave together and then she immediately starts coughing, James didn't learn his lesson so he doesn't get a reward. Maria's not even real, she's a construct of the town to tempt him into continuing to deny his guilt.

Furthermore, just about every Silent Hill has a "good" ending option. The first's canon ending is that Harry stops the birthing of god and gets to leave with a new reincarnated baby to raise. 2 has the "leave" ending where James owns up to what he's done and leaves with Laura, presumably to adopt her as Mary intended. 3's default ending has Heather reject her darkness, 4 has a clean ending where Henry saves Eileen and stops Walter, and so on.

It's directed by the same guy that did the first movie (but not the horrid second one), which was mostly EEEHHHH but had its moments. It got a lot of the imagery and atmosphere right and the music was spot-on (mainly because it was lifted directly from the games), but there was plenty of stupid as well, and way too much was explained (which is the opposite of the games).

Hoping for the best, but preparing for the absolute worst. I mean, here's the first pic from the movie and they STILL can't get fucking Pyramid Head's helmet right.

Every time I've tried to give the Silent Hill movie another chance I'm always lulled by the first half into thinking "this is better than I remember" and then by the ending the disappointment comes back to me like a memory I'd buried in the dark recesses of my mind.

The first movie looks good once they actually get to Silent Hill but bores me to tears while the second one is pretty crap but there's at least decent monster stuff in it (from what I remember) like the mannequin scene.
