Like in Toystory, or the lesser know movies Small Soldiers, or Indian In The Cupboard. If they did come to life, would you be afraid or thrilled, keep in mind the hero to villian ratio in you collection and scale. Meaning if you have all 3.75'' figures but have a lifesize Darth Vader Statue, you're screwed. Larger toys can destroy smaller ones, and even size cancel eachother out. I have more Iron Man figures then anything, so I would only have to worry about my liqour gone and girlfriend hit on lol.

I'd be in a lot of trouble with the Cobra army I've assembled.

I'd hate to tangle with 6 inch Predators too!

I would most likely live i have more heroes than villians *phew* but it would be pretty awsome if that would happen.

P.S i bet it would suck for MIB collecters.

I've got a hot toys Wesker on display. So I guess I'd only have to worry about my room being saturated.

Overall, my "good" toys outnumber my "bad" toys 3:2. But [minor spoiler] in Small Soldiers, the supposed good guys actually out to be the villains [end spoiler], so who's to say they'd actually follow the path fate has chosen for them?

But you also said that size would play a factor. Hmm...I have Unicron, Supreme Starscream from TF:Cybertron, MP Megatron, MP Starscream, MP Skywarp, G1 Sixshot, G1 Galvatron, a 12" electronic Darth Vader, a Cobra Night Raven, a HISS Tank, an AT-AT...

...we would all be dead by morning.

I could only imagine if hasbro pushed for a new toy story movie. Oh yeah did anyone catch the MOTU reference in Toy story 3?

Well, if it was like toy story, your ironman's wouldn't need to eat or drink right? I didnt see any toy in any of those movies feel that they needed to eat, drink or sleep. What i think would happen is, what happened in the first toy story movie were Buzz lightyear learns that hes just a toy, an not some superhero from outer space. Most of the toys would probably feel real depressed at first (i would think) (esp when they realize they no longer have penises). But then i forsee a "Small Soldiers" senario where the make their way to the garage and kitchen an have an all out war to control the house and defeat the villain toys.

LOL. I'd be alright, half of my villain figures would spend the first few hours trying to get out of their blister packs / boxes. I'd imagine that my army of loose Supermen and Green Lanterns would have the toy room secured by the time they got out.

for a while now (couple of years) there has been talk of a script being developed for a Hasbro take on Toy Story. i dont know much about whether or not the project has been pushed forward, or aside... but i do know the project has passed the ideation stage.

i'm a writer too so i have always maintained that this would be a brilliant idea that should be developed by the Hasbro team

you got your Marvel, Joes, TF's, etc. - you can imagine the rest.

It would be one hell of a marketing opportunity that's for sure.

Licensing might be a hassle. But you'd probably drive hasbro toy sales up the wall, because kids could actually buy what they saw in the movie. That was huge for me when I was a kid, being screen accurate I mean.

A lot of random chaos in my room for sure. One thing that would definitely be the highlight is the language barrier amongst the various figures. Plus them realizing that they're made out of plastic.

It'd still make for fun times with the variety I've accumulated.

Ever see indian in the cupboard? it came out long before Toy Story, and is a half decent movie, basically kid find a small acient indian door, kid puts a figure in, turns the key and locks it then opens it and the toy turns into a real little person, similiar to "night at the museum". I would be a little worried about my sentinel and few terminator figures running loose, but there's enough Iron man figures to keep everybody in line haha.

Great, now I'm more than a little afraid of my MP Seekers & Coneheads.

For anyone who reads Shortpacked!, you should probably think twice about keeping a G.I. Joe Roadblock figure anywhere nearby.

The book is even a whole lot better than the movie. Probably would be interesting to any action figure collector, I'd hazard to guess.

If my toys came to life, it would be one of the two scenarios. A. They would be like Buzz Lightyear and believe they are actual characters and what not and believe they're not toys, so I'm sure there would be a huge battle between heroes, villains, Jedi, clones, Cobra, Joes, Decepticons, Autobots, Spartans, Covenant, etc. B. If they realize they're toys, then they would appreciate me for the fact that they haven't been thrown in a box yet.

Also, if they have their powers, lightsabers, rifles, blasters (and whatever) working then I'd say most of my Lord of the Rings figures are screwed. Superman (or someone of equal strength such as the Hulk) would win in any fight 1v1, and my leader class Brawl, Starscream and Sentinel Prime (actually Tiberius') would destroy most of my/our collection. But who knows, maybe even a tiny Galactus could devour the world. Or at least the room.

i could see it being like red Vs blue with both teams constantly spying and trying to attack one another

on one set of shelves id have decepticons and villians from marvel and dc, then throw in a few star wars baddies plus the covent from halo..a few predators.. and with darksied as the grand leader

and on the other tables or shelves we have the avengers ,the justice league..a few halo spartans and a small clone trooper strike force. maybe yoda as the leader of the good guys? lol

I wish technology was available to make toys do that. Maybe not full AI, but imagine having a transformer like Starscream. If he could transfor into a jet then fly around your room and then stop, transformer into a robot, and randomly talk to you. Or Iron man that paced around, shooting targets and pausing for a brief drink lol. I still think it can be achieved, would be costly especially in the initial stages, but man would it be amazing. I would love to be have a fully functional articulated and moving 12'' figure that responded to ps3 controller commands! Like Hot Toys but on steriods and actually worth the $$ lol.

Any 6'' scale Tony Stark/Iron Man heads? I'm always looking for extras to keep on hand.
