Rare in house Hasbro Sepentor figure on card was sent to AFA to only to be returned opened and graded.
Has anyone had AFA open their action figures? The worse day in my collecting history! - HissTank.com - G.I. Joe

That really does suck. However someone in the comments mentioned that if he did in fact want it graded, and it is not sealed to a card, they will open it and grade it as a loose figure. I can understand him being devastated, but it really could have just been a miscommunication.

That and he needs to call them & get some resolution. I would be devastated as well. Lots of G.I Joes have been packaged that way weather they were premiums or packaged that way and boxedand I would never have expected them to open it up.
