Agreed! I'm all for closing this thread, or stopping it and starting a Peg-Warmers one if we're all for it.

To be clear, I'm interested in the white FF packs, not the blue Fantastic Four pack. Is that what you have?

LOL! That's absolutely hilarious. Why do some of the poses get all messed up? Not only do we have to worry about bad paint, we also get to worry about where the figure is looking or if their legs are attached!

It's amazing how many of those terrible Iron Man figures are the main peg warmers at most stores. Do you think that's because it's a bad figure, or because there are already 3 billion Iron Men on the market? Maybe they even over-produced that one...

I just think its over saturation of the character. He has his own toy line.. and MU toys.. how many can they actually sell.... the other peg warmer figure... spiderman.. suffers from the same problem.. there are only so many buyers in any given area that are out there looking for another spiderman figure..

Hasbro needs to quit with the spiderman/iron man figures for a while.. they are hurting themselves because as we collectors know.. if there are 3 pegs full of figures that dont sell.. then there are no orders coming in to fill those 3 pegs. Seems pretty elementary to me!

I think the retail outlets don't see these as collectibles. To the people ordering new stuff, an Iron Man figure is an Iron Man figure is an Iron Man figure. They don't see the difference, as obvious as it is to us. It could be even worse than that, if they don't even look at what figures they have, just that they have some that aren't selling...

And you have Spider-Men peg warming? From MU, or from the Spider-Man line? I'm missing a few MU Spider-Men.

This is what my area seems to suffer from.. the pegs are full.. so they dont order anymore.. they done realize that there are tons of figures that actually WOULD sell.

Yes.. MU spidermen are common around here.. I dont look to closely at which ones exactly they are (as i have all of the MU spiderman figures) but there are LOTS.

speaking for how my local wally operates they view ALL 3.75 inch marvel figures as the same things regardless of what line up it is. this is why once all the movie stuff started rolling in they refused to order any more product in the MU line. to them they had more then enough "marvel" product.
now that the holidays season is reving up they are actually getting more stock though, some revision cases have made their way onto the shelves.

DUDE! Start checking those Spider-Men out! I need a lot of them, and I'd love to get them from an arker for trade. In fact, I think I only have the upside down Spidey and Scarlet Spidey, and that's it!

I really hope to see some revision cases out here. It seems like all they order to refill the pegs is the new wave. Which is cool at first, but gets old very quickly.

You wanted a Mod, you got it.

Knock it off. If anyone has an issue with a fellow Arker, politely take it to the PM's or PM a staff member. Do not continue derailing the thread, or infractions will be given.

As for the topic of this thread, it seems the intention was to discuss and/or rant about pegwarmers. Personally, I'm getting really tired of seeing MU wave 1 Iron Man on the pegs still. It's been almost three years and better versions have been released.

It's your thread. If you want to request that the thread be closed or the title be renamed to better reflect the intended topic, you may do so.

Yea, "The Official Marvel Universe Peg Warmer Thread". That would be awsome, and make everyone happy, I would think, just rename this one =3.

Same here Namor ,Tony Stark/Iron Man and Absorbing Man(flesh) are really starting to clog the pegs here. The other seven figures from those 2 waves are still disappearing pretty quick.

Everything. Most Wally's round here haven't restocked MU figs in a long while. Target seems to be the only place actually getting anything. Though there is one Wal-Mart that seems to restock periodically seeing as they've gotten that Fantastic Four pack wave in a few times. Plus it's always odd to see a Sentinel just sitting there.

This thread is fine and toy related. It's just the title is confusing but it's better than clicking on it and seeing something totally non-toy related like I've seen a few times now. My main peg warmers here are Multiple Men. So many of these damn things, it's almost fitting. lol. :|

y'now, I really would like to see a "post your toy isle" thread.

different figures pegwarm in different parts of the country. For me, I dont see too many MU irom men any more and spidermen disappear pretty quick. Its part of the reason my stores dont clearance is because MU does sell well in my area. Not IM@ figs tho, no one wants them, and Cap figs are always disappearing off shelves.

An interesting idea but, I'm not sure stores would like us taking pictures. Maybe I'll do sections since this in in MU thread. I should find that store that has only Red Falcons on the pegs.

I myself am waiting for next years figs. Right now the figures might not be moving too much, but with xmas round the corner, I'm sure we'll see enough of the same figures that we're gonna be sick to our stomachs.

For the longest time my Target only had 4 pegs devoted to MU, but then when I went this morning they had BAZILLIONS of the Iceman/Magneto/Astonishing Wolvie wave. LOL. Man... they had so much they took up two shelves of an end cap... must have had at least 15 cases.

Damn, of all the waves to get all crazy with it and order tons of... why did they pick this wave? LOL. It seems people are only buying Iceman and Commander Rogers and the rest of that wave will pegwarm badly. Doesn't look good for the Psylocke wave at my Target now.

Let's see, my local Walmart doesn't have any peg warmers atm because they're actually been getting some pretty decent stock in the past few months (that's a first, must be an early Christmas thing.). But the cities around my town always seem to have Namor's (old one, not the new one) and/or Non-variant Ronin's...

As for the new name of the thread, I vote for the "The Official Marvel Universe Peg Warmer Thread" Tiberius mentioned. Maybe even have one for each of the main forums? Star Wars, DCUC, and such.
