That scene in the cartoon gi joe movie was epic. I'm wondering that duke is not dead and will surprisingly show up at the end of the movie. I'm looking forward to this and its awesome to see cobra commander as he should be shown. Firefly is a great add to the cast along with jinx. Also good that storm shadow is back too. I'd like to see destro with the way they ended it in the first one metal head and all.

The liitle kid in me is just nervous.

Can't wait for the sequel though... heard a rumor Slaughter will be in it.

I'd would of liked to see Slaughter over Colton tbh...but I am stoked on Bruce as Colton though haha.

This looks like it'll be AWESOME!

See, this is potentially proof how you can still make a badass accurate movie without a reboot.

I gotta say all around I loved the trailer. The entire cobra strike makes the lack of accel suits make sense. Jynx looks epic. Snakeeyes is even more badass, and absolutely love the Kamakura nod. (Probably Jynx in a yellow suit, but hey! Yellow suit ninja is still a kamakura nod!)

I'm also really digging how they accidentally nodded sunbow and dic too in all this.
Giving cobra commander his battle armor suit from dic first (which was mentioned in the Dic episodes as his first costume before the cowl and face mask one) then switching the to the iconic facemask one for this movie.

Damn that trailer looks kickass!! If the movie lives up to the trailer gonna be a WHOLE load of humble pie consumed over on HT!!!

As for Chu,the guy confessed to being a huge Joe fan,and one of the writers signed up to HT when they got the job writing the screenplay,so they aint approached it with Sommers ego,and they all knew they had to do good!!!

I wonder if they only have CC in it a few minutes being in the wiki link exodus posted there is no actor listed as playing CC?

Im holding out hope that CC is just an body actor and that we get a familiar VA for the voice work ...

As far as the ribs on Chu ... A guy who has been acclaimed, whether we be fans or not; of the direction of fast paced dance choregraphy should be a stretch of the imagination that fight choregraphy would be much differnet ...

Cobra Commander was never credited in the first film, either. Joseph Gordon Levitt's only credit was "The Doctor"/Rex, not CC.

Also, most named actors do not like to have their faces covered and will usually find an excuse to show it even if it's covered at one point. Sometimes the studio or production team pushes the idea onto the director/screen-writer ("We paid for him, we want to see him"). It may even be why JGL bowed out of the sequel.

I'd be very curious to see who they get for CC's VA (if true). I'd be perfectly fine with Charlie Adler. I thought he did a great job on Renegades.

Obviously, I would have loved for them to be able to get Chris Latta, but sadly, that ship has sailed.
