With Christmas coming around the corner, I was wondering how do your loved ones know what figures to get you?

Gift cards, a want list?
Or do they just know what you need in your collecting!

For me, I have been making a list for 4 years now for my girlfriend.
She says it ruins the surprise but I don't mind.
There's no way she knows where to get the figures for the right price or
even which one I need without this list.

So how about you guys?

i havent even thought about what i wanted. mainly gift cards cause i can use it for my MU collecting. LCS gift certificates are absolute gold. But its kinda hard for my parents to search for specific figs during the holidays. I buy my dad his diecast crack tho. he LOVES those maisto planes. only ones that scale that dont look like crap. ton of detail for 3 bucks. my mom never wants anything....
