Source.

Maybe the height on the product page factors in the armor? Hmmm...if this turns out to be around the same size as the D-Arts X, I'm back in.
Wow, indeed. That's amazing! And for 107$?! This have to be one of the best "value for your money" adult collector toy out there. I can't wait to see more products from this toy line. It has the luxery of adult collector and the fun of playline, it's gorgeous*-*!

It says Mega Man height is 14cm here (previous one stated as 14.4cm).

X Armor looks godly!!!

I'd sooner use "Rush" as an enemy then a companion for X.

A special site for the Giga Armor X is up, and they updated the product page with all the official images.

Special Giga Armor

Giga Armor X

The dog really is supposed to be a new Rush, this one's called "Rush Jagt" so Hunt Rush. The bike is called the "ADU-R381B Cavalerie" and it turns into the "G.B.F." Armor. No idea what that stands for, I can only guess... is it "Giant Big F*cking Armor"?

Wow! This is an awesome set. REALLY hope it's at least somewhat in scale with D-Arts, but it's a likely purchase even if it isn't. The bike is just too awesome.

I mean, Rush looks like a bunch'a poop, but it's a neat idea. I'll keep him in bike mode.

I just wonder how additional armor will be sold. Like, will additional characters include new sets that you can mix n' match? Or will the armor be sold separately, like a booster pack sort of deal? I'm hoping for the former, because it'll at least make it slightly more likely that we'll get characters besides X and Zero.

I have the D-Arts Vile, but I'm already hoping for his green redesign in this line.

Jesus Christ, that thing is hideous and incongruous (the Rush thing).

Right here, this is killing my personal interest. Don't get me wrong, the concept is sound and the execution is great, for the most part, but this isn't at all what I'm looking for in MMX figures. I'd be more into it if I had any reason to believe that this won't end up being another "mostly versions of X and Zero with maybe a Vile thrown in" line.

I just want to at least get through the X6 cast, if nothing else. The creative stuff about this is pretty rad, but I just want a cast on my shelf that goes beyond three characters.

Rockman Unity Blog

There's a new blog post over at Rockman Unity which gives us some insight into the people behind the project and also grants us some new looks at the figure.

First, a new shot for the combined mode:

Then there's a neat little tidbit we all overlooked: The front part of the bike which becomes X's shield is supposed to be a Mega Man X version of Beat, the robotic bird from the classic Mega Man series.

Last up, we get to see how the Mega Buster will work: It's not a swappable piece but instead integrated into the arm, Transformers-style. And he has a Buster in each arm so you can totally have him dual wield them if you want.

Cool stuff!

The flippable hands is really neat. I'm not seeing any open hands though.

Oh well.

Anyone else notice how thin the leg joints look going into the hips?
