I'm surprised they are making more of these. I saw the first wave go on clearance pretty much everywhere. I got 3 of them for $11 each at my Walmart. Although bizarrely Egon became really valuable for a while, he was going for around $50 online at one point. I found him on clearance at GameStop.

Of course, it doesn't take them much effort to release the figures again with some slime paint on them. I actually hope we get series 2, I want a Rick Moranis figure.

so I guess these are just the returns from the first wave they didn't sell that they threw some paint on.

Great, more Ghostbusters figures to stink up the shelves (virtually and literally). Great movie but it seems obvious there’s little to no interest in merchandise for it.

It seems pretty obvious that this is just a stalling tactic since the new movie still isn't out yet. Venkman's the only one who got slimed in the movie though, while glow-in-the-dark is a fun gimmick I doubt it'll be very appealing here given how poorly the first wave fared.

When are we going to see some ghosts already?

I love when people speak for the majority. I love the hasbro offerings and have bought every offering. Not once have these gone on clearance in my area and have also sold well. Now when the movies released and with more figures im sure theyll sell better everywhere

It needed the new movie to sell well. With that said, we just got the Mattel and the Diamond Select versions...yes these LOOK like the best...but for many of us, it is a triple dip.

Then you have the BAF problem and then, no car or firehouse. They need to show their hand to push peopel to buy at some point.

I bought the full first wave and the non-SDCC set. I was disappointed that they just reused the Vinz Clortho BaF and called it Zuul without giving it a new head. For an exclusive con set, Hasbro just mailed that one in.

I see most of these peg-warming or they sold for clearance prices around me. I have no interest in the slimed versions. The franchise isn't very deep with characters. They could do one more wave of 6 and that would pretty much be all the characters you really need from the original 2 Ghostbusters movies. Janine, Librarian ghost, Slimer, Vigo, Janosz, and maybe Walter Peck or the mayor with Stay Puft as the BaF. Slimer would be a smaller figure, so they could pack in a larger torso for Stay Puft.
I could also see them doing a set in suits with Judge Wexler and the Scoleri Brothers.

I'm sure we'll see some Hasbro figures from The Real Ghostbusters cartoon at some point unless they scrap the line entirely.

Don't forget the darker GBII suits, that's a whole 'nother wave they could pump out with minimal retooling. They might even get people who don't like those duds to pick them up if they come with slime blowers or other equipment not with the standard figures

In Ghostbusters 2 they had the dark blue jumpsuits.

If this line was 1:18, I'd have been all over it. As it stands, passed on the first wave, and I'll be passing on these.

How you gonna go and get our hopes up with that Ecto-1, Hasbro?

Atleast I’ll be able to find these in stores and not have to pay scalper prices.

Man, these things are rotting away everywhere in my area (like the Walmart Retro ones are at Walmart).

Worst part is that Targets near me have put the overflow onto the GI Joe Classified pegs, and thus no Joes ever make it out on the pegs because the Ghostbusters are still wasting away.

Kinda wish they had done a cartoon wave. I'd be all over proper 6 inch super articulated versions of them and Janine.

I have all of the first wave too, I had no idea they weren't selling well.

I don't know if I will go for this wave, but I did preorder 2 sets the Mini Puft figures. I'm a sucker for Stay Puft.
