I guess Megahouse got the license so it killed this line? Really disappointed we never got Turbo.

Not necessarily, Megahouse are doing figures in a different style. Action Toys just take a long time now between releases.

https://www.bigbadtoystore.com/Produ...ils/225304?o=4 Maaan, so they are instead of continuing the line, like McFarlane's did with Batman TAS, rebooted it. So we are getting new, actually worse looking versions of the same characters we already have, and they are even more expensive too at 55-60$? Tank looks ridiculously simple compared to the MRA version where the arms were folded into the chassis, here they just hand down on the sides. And instead of a rotating face the whole head rotates. Sure, closer to the original toy, but Tank was one of the worst Gobots, and the one used by people in arguments alongside Turbo why Transformers are better, since his transformation only consists of him folding in two. Cy-Kill aka Bike Robo is again the version with the toy accurate face, but he seems more simplified too, especially the legs. Comes with replaceable hands at least, but no energy blast effects. What's worse, I think the engine part doesn't hide or go anywhere, at most it might be on his back, or needs to be removed for transformation? The only upside of these is that they are bigger, for Tank it says 13 cms. |

GoBots will always be the lesser Transformers.
It's like when you asked for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and your grandparents got you Adolescent Radioactive Black Belt Hamsters. |
