I like where they are going with Saint Walker in the series. Has some cool potential.

Bring it back? It's not going anywhere. That was just the first story arc.
They have voices for lanterns cast, who've yet to show up.
Saturday is a whole new episode.

Young Justice, and Thundercats are new. Legend of Korra has gone into repeats. Those are the only four (Counting GL) that I follow.
Though, I checked DirecTV and GL is going into repeats. I was wrong. I'd thought the preview last weeend was new. My bad.
But they haven't had a full season, I don't believe. And Cartoon Network likes to promote season finales and they haven't said anything about last week's being the finale.
(Hell, they even promoted YJ's season finale, when it was bumpered to the second season and no gap between)
GL is probably on break to allow the production crews to catch up a little. That seems to be the standard for Cartoon Network. They run about 7-8 episodes, repeat them, run 6-8 more, wash, rinse, repeat.

So new YJ? Cool, I'll get it later than. Ya GL and Korra were very short it seemed like. I haven't checked the new Thundercats yet, how many seasons is that currently? I may check in between my Transformers viewing. Currently watching Beast Machines.

Sad that I had to dig to find this thread. Has no one been watching this? The new eps since it's return has been really good. The introduction to the Blue Lanterns is great, and now the possible team-joining with red and green lanterns against the Man Hunters is awesome. Great episode yesterday too.

I watch it faithfully. But I've given up on this thread since I thought no one else really cared.

But today's episode (Loss)... it would have me going NUTS it it was a finale, or if it goes on another hiatus.

Just as soon as the series got better it gets canned. Oh well...I'm enjoying this ride with how they're introducing the characters.

Loved the show and I'm sad to see it go. Razar and Aya were written brilliantly and to me were the breakout characters.

I'm curious about why it was cancelled. Administrative, creative, cost or ratings? Generally, it's one of those.

I am loving the direction this show is going with the latest episode. So heart wrenching with what happens to Aya.

What kills me is when the show gets cancelled, the shows soon after the announcement of their demise, are just incredible.

*SPOILERS*

Aya talking over the man hunters to destroy all beings with emotion, simply because she got her heart broken by Razr?! Wow.

The show finally comes into it's own. Sets up characters, makes you care about a relationship and then throws a spanner in it. What's sad is I know this will be either wrapped up too quickly or left unresolved because of the brain trust at DC and CN.

Everything going on between Aya and Razer is genuinely heartwrenching.
And completely unexpected. I've not been able to predict any of the plot, this season, save for Razer's location being with the Blue Lanterns.

SPOILERS:

Until yesterday's episode, I thought that the Guardian woman was Scar.
Though it may still be. I have a theory that the beam the Antimonitor is hitting everyone with actually transfers them to the Antimatter universe.

And is anyone predicting that either Aya or Razer will end up a Star Sapphire? (Or at least such is the original intent pre-cancellation?

I think Aya might (or would have, as the case may be). I think Razer may end up a Green or Blue Lantern. I just don't think he can swing that far on the color wheel, but that could just be me. And admittedly, I'm not completely up-to-date on how each of the Lantern colors react to each other beyond Blue enhancing Green, Blue negating Red, Yellow negating Green, and Red unaffected by Yellow. Can't remember now how the Sapphires were affected by Red or Green (or vice versa).

I don't think Violet has any real effect on other colors. But it makes more sense for the Sapphires to have an effect over Red than it does the Blue. Love trumps Hate.

Blue is worthless without Green, because Hope without Will is empty.

Green is powered up by Blue, because Will is empowered by Hope.

Yellow is drained by Blue, because Hope overcomes Fear.

Red is overcome by Blue, because Hope sooths Rage.

Blue is uneffected by Orange, because Hope overcomes Greed.

Yellow beats Green, because Fear breaks Will.

Rage burns all but Blue.

So the ones left out are Violet and Indigo. Love and Compassion And honestly they make more sense on that chart than some of the uses of Blue. Like I said earlier, it makes more sense for Love to trump Rage. It also makes more sense for Compassion to trump Avarice.

Of course one of the things I liked about the show is that it wasn't afraid to make changes to the lore (The red lanterns aren't absolutely dominated by their rings, turning them into fully functional characters). So with the relationship between Aya and Razer, they may have been intending to make some modifications.

I think the show is being a bit free and easy with what lantern does what to each outher. I mean -sorry not a DC expert- but isn't love actually deadly to Red Lanterns? Razor should of dropped dead right after Aya popped her clogs?

Anyway, another good episode, really nice direction with Larfleez darting in and out of the darkness. And we've seen the corrupting nature of a different ring power. Obviously if the show wasn't being canceled, this would of set things up nicely for the Sinestro corps

Well.. in the comics, the red ring replaces the function of the heart, and replaces their blood with plasma. That doesn't seem to be the case in TAS.

Also, to my knowledge, unless it's been retconned with the new 52, Violet has no effect on Red (Though it should).
