I would have liked to see more power display by Larfleeze considering he has been close to his main power battery for eons. Unless his long time of isolation from societies and his long life have made him to crazy to settle down I would like to have seen him direct more of an attack against another corps. Remember when he wanted that blue ring in the comics? Hal uses the light of avarice more aggressively in the animated series.
I wish when they do this type of animation for comic book characters in the future though they would stop with the huge upper body and short/small lower body look that they favor so much. Also couldn't Kilowog have made weapon construct other than that hammer all the time? Come on.

I've been trying to find season 2 online, has it not wrapped up yet?

Nope. Seems like it still has a little ways to go before it winds down, unless they had it ending in a cliffhanger.

Young Justice seems like it's only got one or two episodes left, though.

As I said in the other thread, they ran a commercial saying there were new episodes next week.

And since before the start of the season, they have a quick clip of John Stewart, who's yet to show up in any episodes.

Kinda hope it's the end. Any more will just be torture, and this was such a beautiful way to end the series.

John was mentioned in the most recent episode during the conversation that started with Guy bragging about being the youngest GL to be promoted to Honor Guard.

But 26 episodes is a typical season length, and I'd be ok with it ending there. If there are any more, I hope it means a second season and not just padding.

This *was* the second season.

Also, 13 episodes is a typical season for an animated series. It's only in the past few years that some series have started to get more than that.
I have a theory that it's anime that have forced them into doing such. And if true, that's one of the few positive influences anime has had on wester animated series.

No it wasn't. It's all still season one, officially. It was aired in two halves, though. Which seems typical of Cartoon Network, based on past experience. The same thing was done with the 2011 Thundercats series.

Actually, it depends on several factors: the type of series, production costs per episode, the numbering system used for that show's production and whether the producers are aiming for syndication (which requires 65 episodes).

And long individual seasons are not a recent trend, either. Check out the episode counts for the first seasons of some of the 80's cartoons to see what I mean.

You're right... that's... really odd. Even for Cartoon Network, that's more extreme than usual. They even advertized "Season finale, and season premier" for the end of the red lantern arc, in the spring, and the start of the Manhunter this fall.
TC was more their typical BS of running a handful, taking a couple months off, and running the rest.

They might have meant "Spring finale" and "Fall Premiere". I've noticed a lot of live-action series have been doing this more often, as of late. They air new episodes during sweeps, take a few months off for the winter/spring holidays and then air the rest of the "official" season in-between.

It's kind of annoying, really.

I always thought it was ironic that the only reason TC finally got on a decent broadcast schedule was because the series was over.

It had such a beautiful ending, too. Rarely does any series get such a great end, let alone an animated one.
And the way that it ended, and with Aya and Razer being exclusive to this series made it feel like the series was really about them, gueststarring Hal and Killowog.

I don't understand why they took these shows off their friday night line-up to begin with. That seems to be when it was most accessible to adult fans (Who now DVR or resort to going online, neither of which positively impacts ratings), and it seems that's when these kinds of shows (Star Wars, GL, YG, TC, Generator Rex) actually got good ratings.
Ben 10 by now has a powerhouse name, and I think it's going to pull in decent ratings whenever they put it on.
