ugh... and he is $30~ on ebay... if only the 2 pack came with the lantern and the parallax piece, then this would be an easy decision. I need Abin Sur!

Just get the Wave 2 Black Lantern Abin Sur, he is cooler anyway.

I might have to do that then.

Yup, definitely going to have to go to walmart. They have 4'' guardians 2 packs. I might have to pick certain ones of those up to add some guardians to my DCIH display. Because of the height difference to DCIH, I'm glad I'm sticking to the alien figures.

I have a bunch of the old green lantern figures but I got into the new series way to late and don't want to play catch up... so I figure I will get the movie ones right away... picked up the hal/abin 2 pack today... I'll probably just return my single carded Hal.

Sure, the one with the glittery paint job? You might as well buy a Twilight toy.

I have no idea what the Hal figure looks like from that set but its suppose to come with ten constructs and thats why I'm interested in it. And whats wrong with glittery paint? The DCUC TRU Green Lantern has a metallic paint job and I prefer that one to the normal one.

The exclusive one? It does look cool.

I think Abin Sur and that frog monster from Movie Masters are the best of wave 1 so far. Heard Hal's joints are hindered.

So...is it just me, or do the four packs of the 4" figures cost more per figure than if you bought them individually? I found the two four packs at Wal-Mart today. They were $29.97 each. Wal-Mart sells the single figures for $6.99 each. The math just doesn't add up. What a rip off.

Similar scenario with the movie master sets at TRU though admittedly I'm tempted by the Abin Sur set

I seen the 6'' figures yesterday at a local comic shop, he was wanting like $22.99 each is this normal or way to high? He's not a major retailer so I expect to see some added price due to him not ordering 10 cases at a time and his level or markup needed.

I only bought Kilowog. I also saw Green Man and Sinestro. Kilowog's head would have to be dremeled and altered somewhat to fit a Joe or MU body.

Guardians(at least 6 different ones), Kilowog, Sinestro, Abin Sur, Green Man, Hannu, G'Hu, Isamot Kol, Tomar Re, Galius Zed, and Stel.

Though none of them except for Hannu really look like their comic counterparts. That list is through wave 3 or 4 too. May have missed a few though still. Heads aren't easily transferrable, but with some work it's possible. Just don't expect to pop them off and onto new bodies with ease or without dremeling.

That *is* normal for a comic store.
They're never going to be competative with a chain budget retailer like Walmart.
In truth, you'll find these to be a little more than the typical DCUC. Averaging $15-$16.

I'm not impressed with the new GL figures, but I might pick up a couple of them if the movie is good and I like what they do with the characters theatrically. Oh, and that WalMart exclusive Alan Scott is a must have, my buddy Matt and I traveled across town and found a couple for $7.50 each, not bad at all.

I wanted it at first, but since I'm not buying the movie masters line I probably won't be building him.

I'm gonna try to get Parallax. This may be the only C&C version the Parallax entity may ever get, movie or comics.
