I want to try to build Parallax. It's going to take a lot! And Tomar stands pretty good, he at least comes with a stand to help him out for the long term standing.

Are any of the 3.75" or 6" figures hard to come by or is anyone interested in any?
I went to a local KMART and it seemed as though they had all of them but im not interested in any. Send me a PM if your interested in any in particular. |

Finally got Kilowog today after checking 3 different walmarts.
He's not so bad. Fits perfect with DCIH at least because of his size. I would have liked more articulation, but the sculpt is pretty sweet. Almost got hannu, isamot kol, and Stel too. Hannu doesn't look so neat really in hand, and isamot kol I'm still debating on but his energy weapon bear trap was meh, and stel... Well Stel is my biggest complaint. His energy weapon is awesome, but his figure being some insectoid robot doesn't look so good. He's marked as an early concept design, with the back of the card having the movie design. I'm debating on waiting until they do that actual movie design for him. That design is badass. Insectoid robot not so much. |

Yeah, the aliens rock. Surprisingly they scale to MU pretty well too. I may end up caving on that stel for his energy blade though. That was tempting.

I'm talking about the 4" one. Unfortunately it is some sort of concept design and it looks like some sort of insect robot with a giant head. The image on the back of the package shows the cool looking Stel similar to the collect and connect one though so the hope is that later there will be a decent 4" Stel somewhere down the road.

Found the Galactic Scale figures at Kmart today. They're just oversized versions of the 4" figures with light up chests and power rings with constructs. Yeah.....maybe in 1992 these could've been decent sellers.

The Hal is kind of basic looking which is fine, but the Kilowog is a good interpretation of the movie look: ![]() |

It seems like in all GL movie lines that Kilowog is the clear winner.

Yeah, and the light up action is neat and doesn't take away from the sculpt as there's no button or switch. It turns on/off by lifting the arm. For about $19.99, it's not bad at all.
The only thing about the effect is that it is a blinking light, but on Hal it's a solid light that stays on for about 20-30s seconds. Seeing a Hal Jordan with light up ring and symbol is kind of hard to say "no" to. ![]() |

I picked up the 3 3/4" Isomot today, my first dip into this line. Locally, they're selling. A week ago, my Walmart put up a small sidekick display (For those not in the know, a sidekick is the set of small she;ves that are on the sides of an endcap) for these. More figures than most other displays on the toy isle though. By today, they're all half gone. So... good sign! They've sold more of these than they have Thor, or MU (Which has been full for three weeks, untouched) My personal opinion, having seen them myself, and owning one... if they had competative articulation, I feel a GL line on this scale could easily be the next Star Wars. Only with way cooler aliens.

That would be because Kilowog wins, period.

According to BBTS, he's "Wave 1.5." So I take that to mean he's not wave one, but he's a planned late addition to Wave 1. A revision addition or so.
