He's okay. Due to his body shape, what little articulation he has is pretty much useless. Given his body shape, MU level articulation would be little more than useless.
But to me, he's more important because he's Isamot, and thus the very first toy Isamot has ever had.

I do believe I like his movie design more than the comic. Granted, his comic design always changes with different artists, but he always pretty much looks like a hybrid velociraptor/crocodile TMNT styled mutant.
His movie design keeps the basic hallmarks of what makes him unique, keeps the basic nonhuman reptillian appearance, loses the humanoid aspects, and makes him more alien.

Saw that Wal-Marts and Targets around here have started to set up their GL toy areas within the aisle. The space they give is quite a good size. Hopefully they don't shelf warmers in long run.

Finally got a Movie Masters Hal and a 4 inch Hal with the fist construct. I'm going to go back when I can to pick up Isamot. I like the picture on the back looks like a really cool dinosaur/Godzilla monster.

You know, I almost bought Kilowog- the sculpt is indeed cool but i realized that there is no pother pose thte fig can pssibly take- he's got idiot "Star Wars" legs- no knee, pr ankle joints and the hips are not only not ball joints, they dont spread apart like the DCU does.
So...why bother even making the arms move? He's a statuette- worse than a McFarlane offering for articulation.

Isomot looks pretty cool- if jack shit like his comic version. Might pick him up and repaint him into a (Marvel) Nova Centurian for the irony value.

I saw movie Stel last night. WTF?

I mean most of this movie stuff gets a WTF from me, but Stel deservers a bolded WTF?

I did see 2-packs at Walmart that came with Guardians. Must admit those were the first things I saw from the movie line that I thought actually looked alright.

The Stel toy is the early concept design. He looks a lot closer to his comic counterpart in the movie.

I picked up the K-Mart Hal/Martin Jordan 2 pack today. Same Hal as the single card but with a claw construct and the exclusive Martin figure comes with a working parachute. Pretty cool, I hadn't seen it my last trip out there. Also noticed K-Mart raised the cost of the 3 3/4 figures from $6.99 last week to $7.99 today.

Bought a 4" GL Hal over the weekend, mostly so I could have a Ryan Reynolds action figure (never got one for his Hannibal King or Wade Wilson roles). My thoughts are here:

Feel free to add your own comments and reviews. And you can add a new review thread for any toy that doesn't already have one, like I did.

Naut Ke Loi is pretty cool. He actually had 3 hidden joints in his fins... I thought they were the bendable rods but they arent. His mouth also opens and closes.

I damn near blew up my monitor laughing in rage after seeing him the 1st time, then I found out he has endoskeletal articulation and therefore now I want an intergalactic alien space fish action figure.

I don't know if this has been posted or mentioned but I thought I'd share, Target has these exclusive figures that you press the chest and it lights up. I think the articulation is only at the shoulders, hips, and may be knees....again not sure 100%

The Wal-Mart exclusive two pack of Lantern with Guardian at the 3.75'' scale point is quite pricey for what you get. Spotted earlier tonight while looking for other figures. $12.97 for two figs really makes me glad I'm not touching this line.

In case you didn't know what I meant, that cat is a TOOL. With connections in Hollywood, the greatest cesspool known to man. He sucks, and I hope he doesn't ruin the Green Lantern movie, but he probably will.
